Been stable at my weight for a year now, but I'd like to get rid of the remaining gut. Damn thing's been hauting me for years, and despite all attempts it looks little different from 30lbs ago. Mostly going to be a body fat thing, so I'll have to figure out if calipers/etc are an accurate way of measuring this.
Height: 5'7" Weight: 140lb Goal: 135lb w/ appreciable loss in body fat |

I'm in. I've plateaued for well over a year now. I've become unjustifiably complacent on my dieting and exercising. I've been fluctuating between 165 and 157 pounds since mid-2011.
Gender: Male Age: 21 years old Height: 5'9" Current weight: 164 pounds Goal weight: 150 pounds But hey, at my heaviest I was 200 pounds 2 years ago for a couple of months. Once I reached my peak height at age 16 or so, I was always about average weight or slightly overweight, but in 2009-2010 I gained about 30 pounds in just a few months (fast food became so convenient in college and my social life went to shit after high school initially). Stretch marks galore. I lost the weight quicker than I gained it once I really noticed how big I became. So I'm confident I can finally get over this plateau if I apply myself. |

2. Pork IS meat. It's also a fairly lean one (with the appropriate cuts, not bacon). Tasty, cheap, good for you. |

Turkey bacon is great, you just have your mind conditioned to think it needs to taste like pork bacon. Think more of it being a strip of ham or such and you'll like it more. Have you tried Jennie O! 95% lean turkey bacon? That stuff's delicious. And yes, turkey sausage is great too. This past week I've been using turkey brautwurst and squeezing it out of the casing, and mixing it with onions and broccoli. Marvelous. |

I do try to avoid a lot of the processed pork sausages just because they mess with my system for some reason, the Aidell's brand and others that have less filler don't seem to bother me much so I stick to those. |

And what's this blasphemous statement about pork? Lean pork can give chicken breasts a run for their money nutritionally-speaking. |

Age: 20
Height: 5'4'' Weight: 130 lbs Goal: 125 lbs I've been working out for a while now without any real changes, so looking to get it into gear. Also haven't really been trying that hard, haha. Managed to get myself capable of running 5k and that's about it. How do I figure out my body fat percentage? |

Good luck to you all! If I could give advice as someone who has lost weight (too much I think at this point!), stop drinking soda entirely. |
