I've been tracking for the last three weeks, since my Vegas trip, but I keep forgetting to check in here. I'll update with my current weight later this morning.
EDIT: So here's my results from the past three weeks: Height: 6'4" Starting Weight: 293 lbs. Weight on 6/29: 287 lbs. Weight on 7/7: 292 lbs Net Weight Loss: 1 lbs (This was right after returning from my Vegas trip. I started out the week so well...but chicken and waffles from Hash House and the white pizza from the secret pizza place at Cosmopolitan were my downfall.) Weight on 7/13: 287 Net Weight Loss: 6 lbs. (I'm surprised it only took a week to make up my gain from Vegas, but I suppose that's what happens with such a sharp change in diet.) Current Weight: 285 Net Weight Loss: 8 lbs. Got back on track this week, adding a couple of kickball games and a lot more walking to my schedule. I also picked up one of those Nike+ Fuel Bands when I was in Vegas, and it's been really great for making sure I'm keeping my activity level up throughout the day. It tracks your calories burned, steps, and puts them into this arbitrary number called Fuel. Right now, my target is 2,000/day, which is basic sitting at your desk casual work. Will probably bump it up to 3,000 as I start getting more and more active.

I haven't been part of this thread but I started losing weight the day after my birthday (June 2) on my own. I was looking to lose about 25 lbs in three months but in less than two I have already lost 20. Things are going way better than I could have imagined:
Height: 6'3" Starting Weight: 226.8 Current Weight: 206.2 Net Weight Loss: 20.6 Goal Weight: 200 The first few weeks I really focused on eating well and running / lifting weights. I guess I just really got my metabolism going because now I am really shedding pounds just going for walks a few times a week and eating healthy maybe two out of three meals if even that. The only thing I have been really diligent with is taking the stairs at work (6 floors - have to do it about 3-5 times a day). On July 4 and two days ago had some major cheat days where I just really ate a lot of unhealthy shit and ended up losing 3+ lbs each time which really shocked me (thought I would put on about 3 lbs each time). I just feel so much better and the ladies are really taking notice. I have pool parties at my house every weekend and the last few weeks I've been getting some great compliments.

Weighed in yesterday.
Start: 204 LW: 196.5 TW: 197.25 Weight GAIN: .75 First week I went up in weight. Only walked 1 day. Had 1 day of eating 2500 calories but the rest below 2,000 which is what I lose in calories a day at 6 feet. Bit shocked at the gain as it doesn't add up. |

I think I had my shoes on last week for my weight in which explains the discrepancy I posted earlier. So I weighed my shoes today...and they're just about a pound. So last week I lost .25 pounds instead of gained .75 which seems about right.
This week I lost 5 lbs though! yeah, I dunno how that happened. I haven't exercised at all but I haven't been eating much either...but 5 lbs...seems like way too much. Height: 6' 0" Starting Weight: 204 Last Week: 196.25 This Week: 191.25 Weight Loss: 5 lbs. |

Goodluck man! I have 44 days left out of my 3 month plan. My ultimate goal is going to be to get to 170-175, that will be my next 3 month goal though.
I've been using Weight bot for iPhone, I made this cool chart from screenshots. Here's my progress so far. If your'e a stats guy like me, it's a great way to keep motivated. Going to look awesome when I'm all done too! ![]() ![]() Time to go workout!
My goal is to get through the first 30 days. On some days it takes the place of my other workouts because it's just too much. If I hit my 90 day goal, I plan on doing Insanity from the start to finish for my next goal. By then I will have enough stains and lost enough weight to really put myself to the test. I have to slow down and take far too many pauses right now.

Checking in! Week 8!
Height: 5'7" Starting Weight: 176.6 lbs Current Weight: 160.8 lbs Net Weight Change: -15.8 lbs Goal Weight: 160lbs 0.8 lbs left! Feels GREAT, man! Gonna keep going to see how much more I can lose before the deadline. I bought new clothes this past week for the first time in a long time and it's great to be buying smalls again. Also feels awesome to go outside and not be embarrassed because my clothes are too tight and I'm too big. Super confidence boost. Great job everyone. Keep it up! |

What week are we already?
Anyway, still here. I was in vacation in Finland for 3 weeks but I keep on training. I went climbing twice there and improved my PR: Push up: 14 Pull up: 1! Yes I can do pull up now, so happy :D My weight is still the same (weighted myself in Finland) but my pants are too large even my skinny one, so there is progress :) |

Kind of annoying, but I'm still looking slimmer. I took an extra rest day from Insanity, and came back to it strong, so I'm attributing the weight gain to muscle growth. I'll have to pull up the boot straps and paleo up. |

You can attribute your mini rebound for the week to numerous things that I won't try and diagnose, but just wanted to jump in and say that gaining weight in muscle is done with a very specific method, and you shouldn't jump to that conclusion just because you had a slight weight increase. I think I get what you're saying, thanks to your diet/workouts you're getting leaner and your muscle is getting more defined, which is great, but you are definitely not putting on pure muscle. Anyway, keep up the great work all. |

Only 31 days left for me. 2/3 of the way!
Target: 190-195lbs Start date: June 9th Height: 5' 11 Start Weight: 224 lbs Current Weight: 201 lbs Net weight loss: 23 lbs Slowed down this last 5-10 days. I'm just glad I didn't gain weight. I've been away haven't worked out too much, and I have been VERY indulgent. Now that I'm back home time to kick it back into high gear for the next 30 days. Can not wait for my next update when I break below 200! Keep it up everyone! |

Thanks for the info, but I didn't realize I was contributing to the spread of misinformation. I meant that to be sarcastic, I follow that statement up by saying that I am going to eat a little cleaner this week.
I do think some of those numbers for muscle gain are extreme, but I'll save those discussions for the Fitness thread. I usually just lurk, but I'll be contributing there after the ms150 and I start lifting again. Edit: Height: 6'2" Starting Weight: 244 8/3/2012 Weight: 231.8 8/3/2012 Weight: 229.0 Net Weight Change: -15.0 Back on track and moving downwards.

Height: 6'4
Starting Weight: 220 lbs Current Weight: 203 lbs Total loss: 17 lbs Weight Goal: <200 lbs (at least 20 lbs loss) Sorry I haven't kept up with my check ins, but I've been really lax with my stuff lately. I've been focusing more on building muscle & endurance over fat loss since I'm getting so close to my ultimate goal. Still looks like I should be able to dip under 200lbs by the end of the month! |

I somehow lost seven pounds in a week (yay!) and then gained all of that back the next week (boo!)
That was weird. I didn't post in here, but I was inspired by this thread. At the beginning I was 268, dropped two pounds a week for four weeks, reached 260, stayed steady for a week, then dropped down to 252/253 over about nine or ten days, and then one week later I'm back at 260. I skipped a couple of days of exercise (just didn't have the time) and ate more junk food than I had in previous weeks, so I guess that's what it's attributed to. Gotta get back on that wagon :/ |

Gahh. Not weighing myself for 2 weeks...I find I'm back up close to 200, at 199. And that wraps it up. I lost 5 lbs in 3 months. Really thought I'd hit 190 by the time this was over but I didn't exercise or eat well at all this last month. Looks like someone deleted all the info on the spreadsheet. Pretty weak.

It's been 3 months. Back on page 1 or 2 or wherever I first posted I was at 220lbs.
This morning I'm at 208. I didn't hit my goal of being at 200lbs by Sept. 1st, but I'll take what I can get. I'm still working to hit 195lbs as my overall goal and that'll be a grand total of 70 lbs lost since I started my lifestyle change on Sept. 1st of last year. |
