Doesnt sound that bad honestly. I was hoping for a Bounty Hunter 2, and this is......sort of....it? I dont know if they do it right (they wont) I am imagining as stated earlier and open world Batman Arkham City game with Uncharted like visuals and cinematics and perhaps GOW like QTE's.
The unnamed scrub bounty hunter though, that was a fuck up. |

I would like the game to be awesome but LucasArts doesn't deserve any trust. They simply just suck. What a waste of infinite potential.

Hey now, FU1 was very good and the DLC for both FU1 and FU2 was amaze. Would love a full game based on the alt universe where Luke turns to the dark side.

This got me. Meh kind of sums up my reaction to this until I see gameplay footage. Lucasarts already has done the impossible in the past - make a Bobba Fett bounty hunter game boring - so I'm not super hyped.
Also, a Star Wars game set underground and not in space with shooting and no Force powers? Ballsy. The dumb, reckless disregard for possible massive layoffs if the game bombs kind of ballsy, but ballsy none the less. |

Are you seriously surprised that people would be naturally skeptical about this game after the string of mediocre Lucasarts titles like the Force Unleashed games, Kinect, The Clone Wars games, the Bounty Hunter games, and so on so forth that they have released in the past decade? Personally, I have went through this song and dance of "let's remain positive!" for the Force Unleashed titles and that didn't really pan out well. Both times. So Lucasarts is going to have to do more than show a little concept art or PR-laden descriptors to truly get me interested.

Just sounds mighty lame and PR'ish to me. I'm actually getting pretty sick of all that bullshit. |

What?
I've played (and been severely disappointed by) plenty of Lucasarts' efforts in the past. And I recognize that the reputation of the company is in the dumps at the moment. I'm just not willing to write a game off as a total failure-to-be just because of a lame five-minute intro and a silly press release. |

Shouldn't your priority be to hope the game is good so that you'll be able to play a good Star Wars game as opposed to "you'll rue the day you dared to doubt a game's quality based on a developer's past reputation for disappointment!!"?

1. We stop any negative commenting in the hope that the positive community feedback will inspire the devs to make an awesome game. 2. We buy the game in the hope that itīs good, because... thereīs such a strong positive hype surrounding it. 3. If the game is bad, then we can all come and diss it on GAF Or... 1. We voice our opinions, based on years of shitty LA games. 2. We wait for reviews, if they are positive, we buy it (you just have to click the ign add to buy it online, so itīs simple enough), if the reviews are shit (you will notice it because the review site doesnīt have ads) we donīt buy it. 3. If we buy the game and itīs awesome, we can go online on GAF and force feed a bunch of hats. If we buy the game and itīs shit, we can all say "i told you so". |

If you think the games tank because people talk shit you are kidding yourself. They have made really poor games, and it seems to lead to spouting a ton of bullshit buzzwords about how great it is before any gets a good look at it.

If anything, "internally developed" by LucasArts screams shovelware. |
