My initial reaction to Uncharted on Vita was more disbelief than this shot. |

Assassin's Creed Bloodlines was a game on a handheld that simply was not well suited to bring us a proper AC game.
The Vita is a totally different animal than the PSP. The processing power and the dual analog stick setup already promise that, at the least, AC3: Liberation, will perform better than Bloodlines. I'm excited about more AC, especially on the Vita. I still have to get and beat Revelations in preparation for AC3. It's nice to see all of these title confirmations for the Vita, but the constant negativity is annoying as fuck. Clearly the console is getting game releases. It hasn't even been out a year yet. Give it some time. I can't think of a single gaming console that had this massive, all quality library of games 6 months out of release. Even a year out of release. The Vita is no different, and the games are coming. I can't wait to see what other announcements are in store next week. |

There are also pictures of I believe the concept art for the game on the third page of the article.
A pier/harbor with lots of boats and people unloading stuff A boat that looks like it crashed in the swamps or something. A building being made with soldiers looking around. |

Just saw the scans of the character and screenshot. Looks really good. Better than I expected.
What really bums me out is that it just doesn't seem like the Vita can win. So many people say, "God, the Vita needs games! I'd be interested if it had games I want to play!" Games get announced: "Games look awesome. Too bad it's on the Vita." You wanted Vita games. Now Vita games are announced. To play them, you will need to buy a Vita. It's like that with any gaming platform. Back in the day, I wanted to play Bioshock, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls IV, and Crackdown. I only owned a PS3. What did I do? I got a 360 (my PC wasn't good enough to run the PC versions). The Vita is a great machine. The PSP was also a great machine, although it's the popular thing to look at it as this pathetic excuse for a portable gaming device, despite it's pretty awesome library of games, and over 80 million units sold (it's sold more than the 360 and PS3 in total units sold so far). The Vita is a fantastic follow-up to the PSP. I imagine that a lot of the negativity stems from a lack of actual, lengthy hands on with the Vita and some of it's best games (and some of the many PSP games that look and play much better on the Vita). It doesn't get nearly the love it deserves, and I can't help but wonder if it had a "Nintendo" label on it would people be more receptive to it's qualities (for the record, I think Nintendo's handhelds are also fantastic, I just haven't picked one up yet). |

This isn't the game. Pachter was talking about an unannounced game but this was announced when the Vita was unveiled as the NGP. It is going to be very cool if this is just the tip of the iceberg for Vita at E3.

Indeed, and wanting more games is fine. However EVERY single Vita topic on the GAF is filled wtih "lol Vita" "Bomba" "that will be terrible" "no one wants to support the Vita" etc etc posts. There is a distinct lack of, "The Vita is lacking games right now, but it is still early, here is to hoping for some awesome games down the line, the console definitely has a lot of potential" which is what the actual situation is. |

Definitely true. But Vita is the only console in recent memory where certain detractors spoke as if it wasn't going to get any additional games after launch.

i dont like seeing bomba, doomed etc etc for any console (besides the obvious Joke/sarcastic posts), I enjoy them all, but its just unrealistic and just plain not true if you think Vita alone in this. look at the wii-u its already starting there with "NO SUPPORT FROM DEVS, NO UE4, ".... my only point was everyone gets this. |

EDIT: not sure how I got in this thread, lol!
UE4 Details seem like they are trying to streamline the process of making games while also increasing performance and graphics. That's good to hear. Edit 2: It appears my post is in 2 threads simultaneously weird. Anyway! Nice to see Vita getting it's own AC entry and if the screen of the female assassin on the roof is in game then this is going to be awesome.

It's nice that the Assassin's Creed game is a reality, instead of just something that was promised and then never materialized, which was sometimes the case with some bigger PSP announcements (like the RE game for instance)
The heroine looks pretty cool, leagues more interesting than the typical hooded figure AC is known for |
