Slitherlink by Nikoli is coming on June 21st to the 3DS.

Was there a Nikoli games compilation released in Japan that all these Nikoli games are being extracted from?
Hamster has been releasing those games in the Japanese eShop since last July.

Just last month, they got Shikaku and Hashi o Kakero games.

Slitherlink and Kakuro were out in August.

Since it seems they'll release all of them here... In the upcoming weeks we'll probably get Nurikabe by Nikoli, Heyawake by Nikoli, Masyu by Nikoli, Hitori by Nikoli, and the two other games I mentioned above.

I'm guessing they're splitting the content and fixes in two patches so they can get the most urgent stuff out before having to wait for everything to be ready.

I didn't check if it was mentioned in the last thread, but NightSky has been rated by the ESRB.

They haven't officially cancelled the game (or said anything about it) since then, so as far as we know, it's still coming.

That's the next time NOA's going to have time to update the Virtual Console, what with their busy schedule and all.

That's because when you see a game you want and it costs less than ten dollars, you buy it because you're not cheap.

Right?

For anyone who doesn't know, this is the game Miyamoto made with the DK94 team after DK94. Not quite as good as DK94 or Link's Awakening, but pretty damn close.

So, who's expecting a surprise eShop update today? New game announced and ready right this second?

Or will that wait for tomorrow's 3DS spotlight?

Loved Mole Mania. Will buy it. I should be excited for Marvel Pinball, but the 3D gimmick has forced them to once again squish the tables onto one screen only instead of utilizing both as they did in Pinball The Ancients and Metroid Pinball. It's a shame. Will be passing on it. Hopefully Picross E makes it to the US soon.

Probably see some trailers up for download like last year. Nintendo also said via SpotPass. Also, the Nintendo Direct stream was put up recently so it won't be that big of a surprise if they update it :P

Useful tidbit from the Nintendo Dev. Roundtable...

Someone is asking if you'll be able to transfer downloaded Wii games and Virtual Console games over to Wii U -- an important question that I'd love for Nintendo to finally address.

07:22:24 PM PDT
"We are readying the system to be able to transfer saves and everything you've bought."
Transferring SAVES was unexpected...

I'm still skeptical given that corrupted save files have been used to enable homebrew on the Wii -- through a variety of games. That, and DSiWare only transferred license rights.

Granted, it would be nice to get my Brawl save moved over.

Don't forget that save files are separate for Wii games and easily transferable by simply moving the SD card, so there shouldn't be an issue.

Not all Wii games can be transferred to the SD card. Almost all online-games can't be.

However, I am hopeful!

For anyone interested, I have a work-in-progress version of the spreadsheet up that SHOULD accurately reflect coin values after July 1st. I still need to add a few things, but it should work for most things.

http://codebook.potchgult.com/clubnintendo/new.html

One other change I made was to incorporate system coin totals into the "general" pricing matrix, along with the price of the systems. This actually makes the "coin cost" bump up a bit, so I might remove it later...

If anyone notices any glaring problems, do let me know.

Edit: Added a subpage outlining all the coin changes. That might be useful!

3DS stuff, possibly including downloadable stuff, is being covered at a conference tonight and the DSi/Wii are already dead, so there wouldn't really be anything applicable to Nintendo Downloads thread.

A few Wii U downloadable titles got confirmed; Runner 2 and Chasing Aurora (new exploration platformer flying game from devs of And Yet It Moves).

I think it was listed under the retail list. Same with TANK! TANK! TANK!.

But who knows, they could be doing higher level downloads on the system and then have the eShop as the name for their arcade level games.

Lego Batman 2 demo is up in at least NA.

Runs in 30 frames, didn't SW and Pirates run in 60? Huh.

The demo was just announced along with the Heroes of Ruin demo (along with reconfirming KH and Rhythm Thief) at the 3DS conference, don't worry if you didn't see it... didn't miss anything really...

But we're getting Fire Emblem anyway at least! :D
