Maybe they can make this multiplatform so they actually get sales. This is good news either way; I look forward to what E3 will bring.

Amazing if true. Loved the first game, even if it did have its flaws. Had a really good atmosphere, would like to see another full length title.

That blog reminds me a lot of House of Leaves more then Alan Wake.

But if this is Wake 2, then it would be for the current 360? Seems weird to throw out a new game this late, considering they have job openings for games on the new hardware.

worth noting: the blog seems to be somewhat active since February and its run by a girl named Samantha.

Its all wishful thinking, but that tweet is pretty damn weird.

Nah, they bought back the Max Payne rights, renamed it Minimal Hurt and placed it in a town called Ordinary.

It's a Farmville competitor.

That blog belongs to a Samantha. No clue. But still hopeful this is some sort of Remedy tease.

As always, people's definitions of 'Megaton' vary wildly.

It would be a fantastic announcement, but not a Megaton. The term Megaton should be reserved some something batshit insane awesome.

This is what made me guess Alan Wake 2 btw:

Quote:
I had another dream last night, and when I woke up, a real scare.

In the dream I was visiting the previous owner of my house at the nursing home, only in the dream the owner wasn’t a sweet old lady, he was a man, and he wasn’t old, he was a young man with a dark hair – very good looking in fact. I remember that he was wearing a funny jacket with old-fashioned elbow patches. I was there to find out about the shoebox, but he was very agitated and didn’t listen to me. The place was brightly lit, it was sunny outside, but he was still very anxious and wanted me to turn all the lights on. He kept going on about the place being too dark. I remember being certain that all the lights were on already, but that didn’t calm him down. In the end he was screaming for me to turn the lights on. I was also starting to freak out, starting to think that something horrible was coming to take us away, and that’s when I woke up. I was really thirsty, I got up from bed and went to get a glass of water. In the hallway, coming back, I suddenly saw a dark silhouette of a man outside the window. I must have screamed aloud. My heart stopped for a moment. I dropped the glass (luckily it didn’t break, it’s one of my favorites). I was really frightened. I rushed through the house, turning on all the lights. My first impulse was to dial 911, but after a moment that felt silly. I told myself that I must have imagined the whole thing, seen my own reflection in the window. Of course, with all the lights on inside, I couldn’t see anything outside anymore. I ended up calling a friend of mine, Joss, who lives nearby, waking him up. He was kind enough to come over and check the place. Bless him. Joss’s a real angel. There was no sign of anyone outside.

Today I’m definitely going buy some yard lights, I’ve been meaning to do that for some time already.
Samantha is dreaming, she dreams about Alan, and as we know Alan is still trapped in there.

It seems pretty clear.. damn you Sam what game are you playingggg

Silent Hill thematic sequel? Darkness engulfing another town but creating portals to the darkness? Could mean a new protagonist, with Wake following the role of the lamp lady/Zane in the original? Shoe box containing the clicker? Why would this dreamer want or know about it?

In the dream, I heard the doorbell ring and went to open the door. There was a man there. He said he was a federal agent. He showed me his badge and all, just like the FBI agents do in the movies. Here comes the scary part: there was something wrong with his face; it was leaking inky smoke so that I couldn’t see what he looked like.
I think I know who that Agent is.

My mind is already going places. Thinking new protagonist with Wake guiding you a la Thomas Zane while you try to break him out and rescue him. Just my head going nuts from HYPE though.

Sold reasonably well considering it received virtually no advertising upon release and released alongside the beast that was RDR.

No need for it be MP, MS just need to give it an advertising push.

Anyone got an idea what the AWE stands for on the agent's badge? I think there's something important there.

e. Given the references to mirrors, it could be EWA, backwards which would refer to Eastern Washington, where Bright Falls may be set. So the agent's badge might've had that listed as his district. Long shot I know.

Nope. Remedys next game is pretty much confirmed to be next gen by job postings, also they said they will not be there. The possibilities with nextgen and AW2 tease are endless though - but better not get the hopes up.
