If full Wii U games are gonna be available for download, I'd say Gamecube ones are a shoe-in.
I'm crushed for I realize chances of this happening are slim. Seriously. Don't think it'll ever happen. ...If it does, though, that'd be the most delicious crow I've ever eaten... |

About the whole "Mandatory Demos" thing:
How hard would it be to have a secure, OS level system that allows you to download complete retail games but limits you to playing with a timer that stops the game and also disables saving? That way you could play any game for say, an hour, and then decide if you want to purchase, at which point the limitations would be removed. Nintendo had such a system in place with VC games on the SSBB disc, albeit without the actual option to purchase them in the end. The point is this would essentially allow demos at zero cost to the developer. Since we already know many retail games will be offered digitally, this could be a smart move. The main question is that of security, especially since digital downloads will be played off of external storage on Wii U. Can anybody offer more information on how feasible this solution is, from a technical standpoint? |

WiiWare, DSiWare, and the 3DS eShop have all had plenty of new, unique games, so I expect the same from the Wii U eShop.
GameCube games on Virtual Console would be awesome, though I don't see how that would work if the Wii U GamePad and Pro Controllers really don't have analog shoulder buttons or triggers. =/ |
