Basically your phone needs to be whitelisted to run beta software like this. So the OP will purchase an Apple Dev account ($100) which allows him to add 100 unique devices for testing software etc. You will PayPal him a small fee to help him recover his costs, along with your GAF username and UDID of the device(s). Then he adds you and you'll be able to run the iOS6 betas...

Search the App Store for UDID, there's a ton of free apps that will allow you to find/copy your UDID and also email it etc.

For those that have access to iTunes, easiest way to get it is select your iOS device in the sidebar then click the serial number on that screen to toggle it to show UDID, then press cmd-c (or ctrl-c) to copy to clipboard.

These are regularly backed up and I guarantee will be able to be restored to iOS6.

icloud? I know when I had to replace my 4s with another, once I synced, it was fine.

The paypal address is fernboi (at) gmail dot com. Make sure to put in the notes section your GAF username so it'll be easier to keep track of. I'll go ahead and add everyone that does it after work tonight and keep the thread updated from here.

Easiest thing is to connect your device to iTunes and then go on the device page, click your SN and it will turn to UDID. Edit > Copy.

There is a program called TinyUmbrella that let's you save certain files you need to downgrade. I am not 100% sure on the matter, but it should allow you to downgrade, even from iOS6 to 5.
