Visuals look alright, but the gameplay seems unique enough that I'm pretty excited for it. Forcing the player to look away from the action (TV screen) to look through objects should create a very tense atmosphere. Actually like that using the crossbow indoors seems so impossible too.
Haven't spent much time with any of this gens Zombie offerings, so this should be fun :) |

As soon as it was stated that when you die, you start over, I was sold. THEN YOUR PREVIOUS SELF IS STILL A ZOMBIE!?!? Holy crap. This game won me over as fast as Dragon's Dogma's Demo did. That's a good thing. It's likely still in dev but I can't say I really care about the graphics as long as the atmosphere is right and the suspense is good. And judging by the video, I have nothing to worry about. What would be even cooler is maybe if your friend's former selves could end up in your game if they didn't manage to kill it or something. And I'm LOVING the interplay between the controller and the screen, inventory management, aiming, scanning and the minimap, the clean, empty on-screen UI.
This might be great. Just saying... |

This was my initial impression when they first showed it at E3 but since then I have really warmed up to all the unique gameplay features.

When I first saw this game in screenshots I wrote it off as a game to pass on. But Once I saw it in motion at E3 and got some hands on time, I was pretty impressed. It was like a toned down Left4Dead. It was more like the old resident evil pacing as opposed of a constant fire fight with an onslaught. This was something i personally preferred. Also was impressed with your character becoming a zombie in the level right where you died, when you respawn. Thats just cool.
Visually the game looked good. Not the going to win any awards, but good enough. I thought some of th interior environments looked very nice. |

That's because devs were getting used to the next-gen (at the time) hardware. Wii U game graphics should progress more similarly to how Wii games did.
