Woah woah, ideally we need two separate threads: one for foods that are amazing after a night of drinking; and foods that are amazing. Those can often (but not always) be really different.
Edit: having gotten sick of Indian food as a child (ate it every day) I was surprised to find that the most amazing drunk food is channa masala:

my grandmother's Chicken Paprikash
here is a picture of a worse (but probably still delicious) Chicken Paprikash served over the correct style of pasta. ![]() I love Eastern European food, mmm FOR DRUNK FOOD I like Korean bee bim bop or a good Berlin Doner! ![]()

The greatest tasting food in the world is in my opinion something that you never get tired off, or can basically eat until your stomach is full.
For that reason, I probably wouldn't pick anything sweet as everything sweet turns sickly if you eat too much. I had some delicious garlic ong choy with glass noodles some time ago at a Vietnamese restaurant, and it was so delicious I felt like just eating until I simply couldn't eat more. |

A premium cut of heavily marbled beef or high end, traditional (none of that disgusting mayo or unbearably sugary sauce) sushi. These two kinds of meals, when done right, are so far beyond any other type of dining experience I've ever had; I'm always depressed about having to eat any other kinds of food for a couple of weeks minimum after I go on such an outing. Sadly, I pay through the nose whenever I do this if I want to eat a satisfying amount and usually, the institutions that specialize in these cuisines are bit too stuffy and formal for my liking.
For something affordable, I'd pick fish tacos or kalua pork. |

As for me, Imma just give the stereotypical black guy answer and say fried chicken. You know what, it doesn't even have to be fried, I just love chicken. baked, grilled, seared, chicken wings, chicken strips, chicken fried rice, etc. I just love chicken. judge me, I don't care, I'm being honest and I won't let a stupid stereotype stop me. |
