We actually don't know. We know that Sony won't allow PSP remasters to be sold on their own, but I don't know if that also extends to PS2 games. If it does, then Squenix is in a lot of trouble with FFX HD.

Atlus and now Falcom have increased their prices by 1000Y with the jump to Vita.

Or it might just be that it's a bigger budget production, so the price gets an increase. Falcom was definitely selling their games on the low side of the spectrum if Ys Seven was 6000yen. Now they're just joining the big publishers in pricing.


Anyhow, glad Ys4r has a date. Hopefully the new famitsu has pictures of the game since Falcom said that visually the game would look very different the next time we see it.
