Figured this deserved its own thread.

Firstly, Superbrothers: S&S EP was released today in Japan. 8-4 localized it, and it has Suda 51 voicing Logfella (Robert Ashley did the English voice work). This is also a free update for anyone that owns S&S, so you can check it out.

Secondly, a remix album has been put out: The Scythian Steppes: Seven #Sworcery Songs Localized for Japan. You can download or listen to it at Jim Guthrie's Bandcamp: http://jimguthrie.bandcamp.com/releases. Apparently it's going to be on iTunes, but I'm not sure if it's up yet and I'm heading out the door for dinner (sorry).

Couple very important points here:

First, this remix album was orchestrated, organized and realized by our amazing collaborators of 8-4. They brought in hero-class artists who in turn blew us away with their remixes (and perhaps, re-imagining) of Jim Guthrie's music.

Second, buying this album supports 8-4 (and not Capy/sbros). This might not really matter much to anyone, but to those that love, respect & support what 8-4 does... please pick it up.

I could gush for days over how rad the 8-4 crew have been... but instead I'm going to grab a whiskey and listen to some remix jams.

Love the Yamane and Yamaoka tracks. Very disappointed with the Lone Star remix, that was by far my favorite track in the game and I can't get into this remix at all.

edit: Listened to all the tracks now. They're all great! Except Lone Star :(. Oh well, 6 for 7 is pretty damn good. Bought.

Little Furnace was one of my favorite songs on the original soundtrack (tugged at the heart strings) so when I bought this album the other day and the remix of Little Furnace kicked things off, it helped turn a shitty morning into a great one.

Really amazing stuff all around! :D
