Why? Nothing wrong with a bit of pop music. And that's coming from a person who primarily likes rock, heavy rock and metal.

I have a friend with big breasts and a really small frame. She also says her back hurts constantly and wants a reduction but can't get one because it's expensive. How much does it cost?

if you're doing it for cosmetic reasons you have to pay out of pocket which can run you several thousand (here, anyway, don't know about the US). if you're getting a reduction due to health related reasons insurance should foot the bill... or at least most of it. a doctor usually has to run tests to determine that it's really your breasts that are causing you chronic pain and it's not due to some other factor. i believe they also take breast weight vs. your body weight (minus the breasts) into consideration.

Where is here? Anyways, that sucks. I didn't think it would be that expensive, but then again anything health related is expensive as hell in the US I could easily see it cost a few thousand.

Even if you can get it declared as medically necessary, if you want to get the 5-star treatment (and from what I've been told, you do because it's hell), you're going to have to go to a plastic surgeon who is very unlikely to be in your insurance network.

I'm almost afraid of asking what the 5 star treatment is and what the other stars would be.

My issue is with PopGAF's shtick, not the actual music. I'm not much of a music snob, not my area.

You shouldn't let that dissuade you. If you have problems that weight loss won't resolve, it's probably worth looking into.

same problem here ;.; I remember trying on the cutest dress I have ever seen and being completely devastated when it sagged at the front. I felt really inadequate. Mostly I'm pretty happy with my boobs, but sometimes they kinda let me down :p

You can find out your own size! :O

This is a pretty good guide.

Personally, I got myself fitted at a place called Changes and they gave me my proper size and finally got me bras that are great. :D

This is slightly different from the other guides I've used but yep, as expected 30G. I've wanted to try the size out for awhile but you know how hard it is to get decently sized bras. :< I might order one next month and see.

thanks for the link. out of curiosity i measured myself according to this guide. when standing i have an 8" difference between the band and bust size and when leaning parallel to the floor (like they say to do) i have a 10" difference. which would put me at a 30 FF - GG (UK sizes).

if this guide is as accurate as people in the comments are saying, that's crazy! i recently went from D up to DD because i was noticing that i had a real shitty fit in the Ds... think i just wanted to believe that my boobs were really that small, hah. anyway, DD is a big improvement but i still find that i get some issues even when the bra is adjusted the proper way. i was considering going up one more cup size but apparently i need to go at least three sizes up? i guess it's worth a try! i might try that brastop.com site because they have a great return policy.

If I calculate the difference in inches manually it comes out completely wrong @_@ I have a 6" difference, but there is no way in hell I'm an E cup.

Give it a try, Shan! I mean, if bras have never quite properly fit you, perhaps this is why. And if it ends up being completely off base, then at least you tried it. :)

Lissar, definitely try brastop. Look at all the pretty! Look at it all! :D

Good luck, Cloud. Haha, I guess it can be pretty shocking when you think you're a D or something and it's like "WHAT IS A G?!" Definitely give brastop a try. :) Hope it works for you!

Those prices aren't bad actually, even with shipping! I was expecting to have to pay $75-100 for anything decent.

And yes, I actually convinced a friend to calculate herself in a different way (but with similar results) and she ended up with 34E even though she'd been wearing 36C all of her life. She was convinced that couldn't be right, but she eventually tried it and told me it was the best fitting bra of her life. It's at least worth it to try!

Measuring your boobs is a bit tricky. I did it three times and each time the measurement came out different. 34D, 34DD, 32E. I wear 34D so it wasn't too far off.

30 inch (I've been wearing 32C).

I had a look at the real cup pics. I guess I could be... maybe... I think my problem is that the top bit of the cup is always a little loose, even when the cup is too small. Do you think it might be a band problem? -awkward question-

Could be the shape of them. Different bra types work for different people! I suggest going to Bratabase and giving them your measurements. It also asks details about the shape and placement of your breasts to give you suggestions for bras that would be the best fit!

This is a couple of days late so I apologize but she handled it pretty well. She has scars from the surgery which she obviously doesn't like but they really aren't that bad in my opinion. She hasn't really had any strange problems after the fact either. Just your normal surgery stuff. It's saved her a ton of money on bras in the long run too. She no longer has back pain and she actually feels better about how she looks. Before they made her look pretty unproportionate because she has a small frame too. Now she is a lot happier with it.

Back from bra shopping :D (Gaf has started to distract me even when I'm not at the computer... -_-) The expensive department store I visited didn't stock size 30 at all, and 32 only goes up to D. No wonder so many people are wearing the wrong size! Its impossible to find the right size! Anyway, I bought a super cute 32D for $15 (down from $70). I think I'll try to find a better size on that website too.

My boobs aren't that big but still if I wore bras like that, they'd be spilling out like crazy. :|

Now that I have been ~opened up~ to the world of cheap cute bras for my size, I want them all. Haha. Just because men don't find me sexually appealing doesn't mean I can't look pretty for me! :D

Two questions and I'd like opinions from other girlgaf on these.

Two points of contention with my significant other have me second guessing myself and my feelings.

I find that my #1 complaint when I'm being intimate with my partner is that he doesn't make very much noise. I on the other hand, make plenty of noise. When my partner doesn't vocalize at all it makes me think that something is wrong or that he isn't enjoying himself. When he finishes he makes some noise but otherwise there are times when I might keep going because I couldn't tell. Sometimes he's more vocal but I think he's putting it on in reaction to me. Is this pretty normal for guys or not really? Too busy trying to concentrate is his excuse. I've only ever been with one person so I have no point of reference. I guess guys could answer this too.

Secondly. The topic came up recently where my significant other admitted to watching porn. I kind of already figured but since I didn't really know for sure I just didn't let it bother me. I've always considered myself a pretty cool and understanding girlfriend. I never would really think that I have a problem with it but I do. When I spoke out about it my boyfriend and his friend both said my feelings were irrational, ill-informed, and unfair. They said that porn is a means to an end. They said that guys don't lust after the girls in porn but that it's something they watch out of habit to help facilitate getting the jerk off process over quickly. I don't see how that makes sense. How you could watch another woman having sex and not lust after them. Isn't lusting after them the whole point of watching porn? They seemed to disagree.

I don't know whether I'm jealous, disappointed, or what. I felt like maybe he was "beyond" that. He's very special to me and little revelations like this sometimes remind me that he's still... I don't know. I just sort of feel like in our relationship he should be above that. Like I should be enough for him. When I say it like that I DO feel irrational though. Then I get angry at myself for second guessing my feelings. I don't get jealous or upset that he masturbates. I just sort of misguidedly thought he did it without watching porn.

Am I a jealous lunatic girlfriend?

1. I am ridiculously quiet during sex to the point that my partner thinks I don't enjoy it. I've just always been quiet. He's basically the same except for a few moans here and there. It depends entirely on the person really. There are noisy ones, and quiet ones from my experience.

2. I don't like porn, it's just something I'm not comfortable with. Unfortunately my guy loves it and I just have to get over it. Whether I can is another story. Seems like we're in the same boat here. Don't really have much advice other than maybe tell him how you feel?

We can be jealous lunatic girlfriends together!

I don't lust after the girls in porn. Like they said it's just a means to an end.
