It's gonna be huge I tell you! Nexus Google TV box by Vizio, Samsung Galaxy Nexus Dock with Google TV, Nexus HDMI stick by LG Google TV, Asus Google TV Tablet Docking Station. They're gonna rename Google I/O to Google T/V next year. Just wait.

If you activate an Android phone and don't already have a gmail account, it prompts you to create an account (much like Apple and iTunes). This account creation is optional of course, but it seems pointless to get an Android phone and not plug into the suite of features like Maps/Gmail/Youtube/Picasa/etc. |

Andrex and Google come hand in hand with hyperbole. It's expected. Still love the OP. Regarding GOOGLE TV:
That's it. I'm tired of this pussy-footing around. Hell they can take the Galaxy Nexus guts and put in in a different shell - poof! Wala! Google TV.

Coco could probably answer that question, though he would have to be an ESPN watcher to answer it. |

There is this: Technically it should work on Google TV. After 4.0 is all the same OS - though ESPN can also restrict what devices the app can be installed on :-/

HAHA! I wouldn't want my phone docked out in the open, when you have X amount of drunken people nearby.

I do have high hopes for Google TV this year. They really need to push that it has Chrome and Google Play apps access.
Probably so that they don't have to split the keynote again. I do expect some stuff on the Web Store and definitely Chrome for Android. |

My best friend has a Logitech Revue he got when it was still expensive. It was a running joke for what felt like YEARS on when that thing would get an update and not suck. At 1st he was okay with it, but it slowed morphed into worst tech purchase he'd ever made. He felt like he was a beta tester, and I remember the never ending "well I checked the logitech forums AGAIN and they said we might be getting an update someday...!" Hell we still joke about that shit sometimes.
So what are the chances if they drop Jelly Bean during the conference it gets fast tracked for devices OTHER than the Galaxy Nexus? Are HTC One and Samsung Galaxy SIII owners going to be left hanging for like 6 months? I really liked what MS showed off with Surface, but I said before and after I'd really like a solid 7" tablet for like $250 (I'd rather pay an extra $50 over the $200 price for a slightly nicer device inside and out). I feel like 7" would be perfectly fine for my own personal usage, but I'm not really satisfied with the devices currently on the market. |

I won a Revue from Google, so for a free piece of kit I was really pleased. Chrome on my TV was awesome. I feel like $99 is the perfect price for it.
Also I've been informed there are indeed two keynotes. Day 1's is 9:30am PST and Day 2's is 10am PST.

As for the updates, it's the same old story as always, it'll get pushed to AOSP, and then it'll take months for anyone to push the updates out. Samsung has been pretty good about updates, but it still has to be pulled and merged and tested. I think Motorola will get the JB update out there pretty fast though, they seem to have gotten a fire lit under them lately. I'm probably getting Windows 8 Pro tablet sometime next year since my free chromebook is starting to die. |

Well the Google checkout page for the galaxy nexus said it comes with 4.1 jellybean. Someone slipped up and put it early but I wonder when it will actually come out. I run cyanogenmod nightlies anyway though so I'm not too concerned. I'm just curious as to what's new. Gnexus will definitely get it first though. The HTC and GS3 however have custom UI's so good luck on getting timely updates for those unless you're running custom ROMS
