Samsung Galaxy SII, the T-mobile version.

I just updated it to ICS last week, it's kinda feels like I have a new phone again.

The problem with the Nexus is that its too good! Seriously, sick phone. I tried the S3 but the Nexus felt more classy with the textured rear casing. I love the feel of it.

On a HTC incredible, but my contract is about to expire next week. It'll be my last phone on Verizon due to their bullshit plan changes.

Nope. The Play Store version is GSM, Verizon's is CDMA.

Galaxy S International Version (i9000) running custom rom MIUI (which is based on CyanogenMod 7)

Fast, best of both worlds (iPhone and Android), a lot of freedom to customize due to the theming engine.

Currently rocking a Droid X that I preordered two years ago. It's showing it's age, but I love the thing. Will be upgrading within the next week to the Galaxy S3 when that releases for Verizon and finally ships.

You can downgrade after, there are guides in the support forums and it's pretty painless. However, I am loving ICS on my Xperia Neo V, it runs pretty well. Hopefully we can have JellyBean too. I'm sticking with my Neo V until Google comes out with an Xperia Nexus.

Ah good, thanks. I think my contract is up in January so that'll give some time for the price to drop a bit too.

So I'm about to go get the Sprint variant of the Galaxy S II.

I want to get rid of the bloatware ASAP. Do I really need to root this thing as well to get rid of Sprint's shit-tier apps?

Indeed.

There are times when it seems to be on its final leg, but it still works as of just now.

I may put it into a glass case or something, because to me it's legendary.

Well I'm kidding, but I owe a lot to that phone.

Galaxy Nexus.

I got my first smartphone like 2 years ago... a Nexus One. Quickly went through that, to Nexus S, to Galaxy Nexus. Then I realized that I don't really care about phones.

Will keep this until it dies and re-evaluate then. At the moment I just don't understand the excitement really. Nor for tablets.

probably. on webos i was never really bothered by them although there were easy ways to remove them. i'm glad that apple doesn't let them put any of that shit on there and it is an optional download from the app store if you want any of it. btw, none of the apps will make up for shitty sprint coverage :(

Man the nokia 800/900 look so nice. But I think i'm going to have to go android because that seems to be the better OS. If I upgrade my phone and get stuck into 2 year data plan can I cancel that before the 2 years are up? i.e. is there a way around that if I find myself not needing data? (wifi everywhere at school).

I own an Xperia Arc

It's generally very good and I love its thin, sleek architecture. My only gripe is its use of an SD card as its primary source for storage. I thought this was a massive positive when I first bought the phone, thinking I'd be able to throw in a card as big as I thought necessary (obviously went with 32gb). Great - heaps of space.

It turns out a good majority of Android applications need to be installed on internal memory of which the Xperia Arc has 400mb of. What in the greatest of fucks were they thinking? Of what little I have, I am constantly deleting apps while my SD card sits there, almost empty doing absolute jack-shit. Frustrates me to no end as to how the designers of this phone thought it was a valid pathway.
