Respect! I have that phone in Mexico too. I leave it at a friends place and I just ask him to keep it alive by adding "minutes" every 6 months so my line doesn't die.

HTC Desire Z. It's ok, but I only use it to read e-mails on the go, and a few time functions (countdown for cooking, alarm in the morning). I could have kept my 5 years old blackberry and not notice any difference.

Tmobile Comet, had it a couple years now. It's pay as you go. A $100 refill can last me 5-7 MONTHS. I don't need all that data personally and hardly use many Android apps anyway. Wi-fi is fine by me. Yeah, I'm cheap. The phone sucks for most people, but does what I need it to do.
