Even though this was announced a while ago, I find it odd that San Andreas is on Xbox Originals, and this, if true, would put Vice and GTA 3 on PS3. What's up with that?

Maybe it's a music or celebrity voice actor license thing. Might be some deal where they can only use that music if it's put up digitally(thus why only GTA 3 exists on ipad since most of its music isn't big name bands)

For the record, I would love a GTA HD collection and a double pack of Bully and Warriors or something.

I'm playing San Andreas on PC right now and these games have aged like absolute SHIT graphically. But they're still fun as hell, and the music... THE MUSIC. Too good.

I am still shocked at Rockstar hasn't farmed out HD remastered versions of the PS2 GTA's. Seems like they would be an easy way to generate revenue in between IV and V.

if you have a 360 they work with the 360BC. they are in HD ( widescreen.)

The original xbox versions are incredibly overpriced though. They only sell SA digitally which I never understood.

Characters and storyline are related and you aren't winning any points talking about the storyline of the series anyways. Everything related to the cannon of the games is ripped off of movies that give syfy channel movies a run in the shitty b or c rate movie department. Not once have I played a gta game for story.

As for gameplay nope. VC had more interesting things gampleay or minigames than SA. everythnig in SA was kind of casual shit people tear in to Wii for in it's simplicity. Not only that I couldn't stand the collecathon nature of the once you beat the main parts.

I made the addon comments to show the disdain I have for SA. Out of all the main gtas on a console or pc it's the only one I refuse to fully complete or even attempt too.

I played it on my iPhone of all places recently, haha. Imperfect controls aside, I actually really enjoyed it.

I'm splitting hairs, though. When I said San Andreas is the "worst" I'm just thinking of a few nitpicks that put it behind the others. It's still a personal classic for me.

If anyone's looking for a real answer, they probably don't want to release a game set in San Andreas so close to GTA V.

That could be. Though I also think that could get people excited to revisit San Andreas.
