I prefer the later games, but Carmen Sandiego showed me all about geography. I would get so angry at the stupid kids who couldn't find Mexico on the map or some other easily identifiable country.

Oh yeah, same here. I was waaaaay too young to be playing it though. It didn't stop me from trying to play this and Space Quest when I just had basic reading skills though. Good times. Watching those bobbies chase the crook and hearing that siren brings back such memories.
