Sakura Ichiko is a 16-year-old girl who leads a charmed life and is blessed with beauty, brains, and health. She has an abundance of "Happiness Energy", which can make people happy, but at the cost of absorbing all the Happiness Energy from her surroundings. She has caused the energy balance of the world to become unbalanced and because of this, she becomes the target of a Poverty God named Momiji. Momiji goal is to remove Ichiko's power of absorbing other people's Happiness Energy and to return all the energy she has taken to its rightful place.

Did someone say show of the decade? Because that's what I heard (at least until Magi)! Peak your head into the wonderful world of gods and goddesses, where they perform hilarious antics sandwiched between heartwarming moments, all while sporting some of the best facial expressions you'll never experience because you aren't a fuckin drawing! You want comedy, you'll have to look for a long ass-time to find something better than this in any medium!

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon season 2

In the far future, humans abandon a devastated Earth and traveled to outer space. However, due to unknown phenomenon that prevents them from traveling into space, humanity returns to Earth only to find it inhospitable except for Japan. To accomodate the entire human population, pocket dimensions are created around Japan to house in the populace. In order to find a way to return to outer space, the humans began reenacting human history according to the Holy book Testament. But in the year 1413 of the Testament Era, the nations of the pocket dimensions invade and conquer Japan, dividing the territory into feudal fiefdoms and forcing the original inhabitants of Japan to leave. It is now the year 1648 of the Testament Era, the refugees of Japan now live in the city ship Musashi, where it constantly travels around Japan while being watched by the Testament Union, the authority that runs the re-enactment of history. However, rumors of an apocalypse and war begins to spread when the Testament stops revealing what happens next after 1648.

Aoi "Smugdouche" Tori is back, and he's more smugdouchey than ever! He's so awesome, he can STILL pull off the roll of protagonist while not even being a main fighter in an epic, unrestrained action show! So who's ready to jump back into the world of Musashi!? Tes!

Protagonist Kirito, one of the many gamers, has greeted this 'truth'. He plays as a solo player in the giant castle that is the stage for this game ---- 'Aincrad'. To meet the conditions of clearing the game and leaving this twisted virtual world, he must get through all 100 floors. Will Kirito have what it takes to clear the game, or will he die trying?

Playing MMOs is lame, but the stuff that goes on in them isn't. Seems like the genre is starting to make big strides in the world of anime. Let's just hope it's more Accel World and less .hack.

She visits Regalo to see her father who is the head of Arcana Famiglia. He tells her to become the leader of "Serie of Sword", the arbitrator section of the family.

Bishounen mafiosos are so sexy, right!? But seriously, who cares about that? It's all about the ACTION! Based on an otome game or not, this definitely has potential in that area. Apparently It's like Katekyo Hitman Reborn, so that's always maybe kind of a plus.

Hagure Yuusha no Estetica

In normal RPGs, a hero defeats the Satan king and the story ends. But what does the hero do after that? Ohtorizawa Akatsuki defeats the Satan king in the fantasy world of Alleyzard and returns to the real world. He is sheltered by the international organization BABEL, which protects and controls people transferred from the outer worlds. BABEL is astonished to know Akatsuki has really defeated Satan and brings Satan's daughter Miu from Alleyzard. In the academy of BABEL, Akatsuki confronts other "returners", who have psychic powers.

Who doesn't love spunky demon princesses!? I don't want to meet those people, they're probably evil customer service workers. I mean I guess you can't blame them. How to be a misanthrope for dummies: work in retail.

Ryosuke makes a contract with Lisarah and she sucks energy required for her activity in the human world from Ryosuke. The source of the energy is his ecchi spirit. To recover the sexual desire, Ryosuke has no choice but to help Lisarah's search.

I'm getting High School DxD vibes from this, which we all know was one of the best shows of winter! Should be a fun ride.

Aruvu Rezuru: Kikai Jikake no Yousei-tachi

A cyber battle sci-fi. In 2022, the technology of quantum computing has greatly advanced and many people have transfered their mind into the cyber space. Remu's sister-in-law, Shiki, skipped grades and entered a high school in the academic city "Okinotori-island Mega Float City (OMFC)" when she was 14. One day, Shiki confessed to her brother via Skype that she was talking to him directly from the cyber space and her real body had been kept in a water tank filled with a culture medium. It's called "Body pool" and Shiki connected to the network by nanomachines implanted in her brain. Remu was surprised but he accepted her decision until an accident called "Early Rupture" happened. The network server got overloaded and users' minds were lost in cyber space leaving soulless living bodies in the Body Pools. In order to bring Shiki's mind back, Remu visits her apartment in OMFC and there meets Shiki escaped from the hospital. But the girl tells him that she is not Shiki and she happens to haven taken over Shiki's body. When Remu tries to figure out the situation, a violent attack strikes the apartment.

And here's some more cyberspace stuff! Premise seems interesting at least, but it really could go either way. Potentially tragic/poignant and heartwarming, or just really boring. Hopefully it's really actiony. Guess we'll see.

From the twisted mind of 3rd best foreshadower ever, Koji Kumeta. Probably gonna have more despair and stuff. Could be interesting at least.

Campione!

A harem love comedy plus magic battles. Kusanagi Godo is a 16-year-old high school boy, who once killed the god "Verethragna" and acquired the title of "Campione (god killer)" when he was 15. Erica Brandelli is a 16-year-old Italian girl, who is a "Great Knight" of the magic society "Bronze Black Cross" and had fought together with Godo to defeat Verethragna. Godo doesn't like fighting but his title of "Campione" makes him get involved in battles against other Campiones and uncontrollable gods.

No shortage of fantasy stuff this season, but the trailers make this look a lot more epic than it probably is. Let's just hope it's more action than harem antics.

Tanken Driland

Due to the influence of someone who visited her town when she was a child, Princess Mikoto of Elua decides to become a hunter and search for treasure all over the land of Driland. She sets out on her journey with her personal assistant Wallens, but they are soon joined by Pollon, a hunter who dreams of being a hero, and Paan, a wandering knight. As they continue their exploration they begin to sense great danger drawing near.

Was having trouble finding info on this, but it seems like a more fantasy-leaning Hunter x Hunter (which I'm only basing on the title of the adventurers). Could be cool or could be dumb. At least it seems like there will be some well designed monsters.

Ordinary high schooler Yoshiharu gets pulled into a time slip to the warring states period. There he meets Nobuna Oda - not Nobunaga, Nobuna. In this world, all the famous warlords of the era are female. Nobuna recruits Sagara, who she dubs "Monkey," to help her in her quest to rule the world.

What's the deal with gender swapping Warring States era historical figures, lately? I mean yeah, we all know Yukimura and Masamune had a great pair of tits anyway, but this is getting ridiculous. I bet Jubei-chan started this, didn't it!?

Kingdom

In the Warring States Period of ancient China (475-221 BCE), Shin and Hyou are war-orphans in the kingdom of Qin. They dream of one day proving themselves on the battlefield. Shin then meets a boy who closely resembles Hyou, Ei Sei. For now he is the king of Qin; later he will become the emperor Shi Huangdi.

Well, that's definitely CG. But it's also action!

Since 1973, an invasion of aliens known as BETA upon Earth is driving human civilization into nearly collapse. Facing an enormous mass of enemy force, mankind has developed large humanoid arms called as Tactical Surface Fighters and deployed them to its defense lines through out the world. However, all those efforts could slow down defeats but could not stop BETA, and mankind is forced to abandon major area of the Eurasian Continent. For 30 years, mankind is bogged down in an endless war against BETA without any hopes of victory. In 2001, the Imperial Japan faces difficulties in the development of a next-generation main Tactical Surface Fighters (TSF) as it defends the front lines of the Far East. The UN has proposed a joint development program between the Imperial Japan and the United States as a part of its international mutual development project of TSF, the Prominence Project. Yui Takamura, a surface pilot of the Imperial Royal Guards of Japan, is given responsibility for the project and sets off to Alaska. Meanwhile, Yuya Bridges, also a surface pilot of the US Army, was heading to the same destination. Yet they never knew that their encounter would change their destiny drastically.

Oh hey, some Romantic comedy eroge alternate continuity story. That's cool, I guess. At least there are tits and mechs.

Ah, the token imouto show of the season. Can't go a full 3 months without one of those! Ah, but this one has a twist; he doesn't know who the imouto is! How dynamic!

Koi to Senkyou to Chocolate

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate follows the protagonist Yūki Ōjima, who attends Takafuji Private Academy a large school with over 6,000 students. Yūki is a member of the Food Research Club along with seven others, including his childhood friend Chisato Sumiyoshi. The members leisurely spend their time in the club not doing much activities. When the election of the next student council president comes up, the front runner Satsuki Shinonome proposes that clubs that have no merit should be sorted out and abolished. The Food Research Club seeks advice from the current student council president Yakumo Mōri, who suggests Yūki run in the election as an opposing candidate. Yūki learns about the issues facing the school and decides to run in the election.

I made vodka sauce earlier today, and it was damn awesome. 1/2 cup vodka, 16 oz tomato/marinara sauce, 1 cup heavy cream, and a little bit of grated parmigiano-reggiano.
