RPJ2 drew to a close with a bit of chaos for me...

On the road trip I took this weekend up to get my dog, on the way up I was in a pretty big wreck outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. Everyone's fine but I totaled my car. Feels bad. Had to make the rest of the journey in a rental and all.

But it could've been much much worse, and at least I'm now home safe with my pupface.

Definitely counting my blessings. Thanks to all for a great month, and I do hope at least some of you come set up shop with us in the community thread where wings take dream.

I don't really know why I use hon so much. I guess I just spend enough time in Baltimore that it kinda rubbed off. I've got a million little pet names that I use for my girl friends, though. Hon, honey bunny, sugar buns, sweet cakes, lover, etc.

I use the word dude a lot, too.

Oh there's nothing wrong with using either hon or love, but I meant people who use it with strangers. Love and hon seem a bit too personal to me, I know they aren't supposed to be for people in the US and UK but I'd feel odd using it. XD I do call some of my closest female friends love or lovey all the time. I use dude and dudette a lot, too. Mostly call my friends by their nicknames, always make up weird new nicknames based loosely around my friend's real names.
