Has Nintendo brought the NA Club code values in line with the Japanese ones? I was looking on the Japanese Club Nintendo site, and their prizes (and there are many) are dirt cheap. I think the highest was 500 coins, and that was for the gold classic controller pro. Maybe we'll see the addition of things like that, or soundtracks in the North American store?

Oh man :( I'm registering some stuff I had on the back burner now, one of them being Mario Kart 7. After that I tried registering my girlfriend's copy of Mario Kart 7 but it wouldn't let me because I have "already registered the game". I paid for both copies too! Stupid.

Interesting, Ketzal's Corridors is indeed 5 coins now, so glad I decided to get it and register it at the end of last year. Also, still no sign of Slitherlink, Bomb Monkey, or Marvel Pinball in the list, although I suppose they could still add them, but this doesn't look good for the future of 3DS downloads. Also, I thought they said Super Mario Galaxy (non-Selects) was going to stay at 50, but now it's only 20 like the Selects title, so I guess that was a mistake.

Not on a single account. However, if you really are desperate for those coins, you can set up a family account and link it to your existing account to pool the coins. This allows you to register one game per attached account.

I just registered 320 coins worth of products, and it's not showing that I have Gold status for the year. Whoops? I'm hoping it's because this is the first day of the Club Nintendo year or something, and that it will show up later

I hope they pull a 2009 and have 2 different platinum rewards. I like having more than one choice, calendars excluded

Not registering anything until they announce the G/P prizes. Apparently doing surveys now don't add to the progress for Platinum 2013 (although you still get the coins in your CN Wallet).
They should always have a choice of one Mario franchise item and one item from another franchise, and one should be digital and one physical, because not everyone wants dust collectors.

I'd appreciate something with a bit of actual utility, as opposed to something purely meant for display. A special edition controller, perhaps. Or something like the Game and Watch collections--physical games that would never sell in stores. Digital games possess no collectible value, and I still have no idea what I'm supposed to do with that pin set.

Huh. In the "Purchased any new games?" section, Rayman Origins is listed (you can even click on it to go to the "Add Code" screen), despite the fact the game doesn't come out until November.
Interesting that the free game expiry dates are different. I guess they have two games at once and roll them out more often.

The pins really sucked. Here's to hoping NOA will redeem itself this year. The action figure idea is okay, but it's not even significant nor meaningful to the club. So I say no.

Can you redeem the DSiware games offered as rewards - like Electroplankton this month - on a DSi system or is it only on 3DS? I have both, but the DSiware games are DSi resolution and look like crap on the 3DS I assume. I'd rather put it on my DSi.
