78/100. Bit America centred yeah. No reason to play NHL etc. but classics like Nintendo World Cup are not on there. I also cheated with Contra / Probotector obv.

Most of the games I didn't play are Genesis games. Apart from being obviously way inferior to SNES, I also didn't have the moneyz back then to go multiplatform.

In what world is PC the notable platform for Oregon Trail? Just lumping all computers undetermined the PC heading even if Apples were the main system, I guess?

In a world where the compiler wrote down lots of games they'd heard of without doing the necessary research.

NHL was actually the only American-centric game I *did* put. Hired it out for a weekend. Enjoyed it, although not enough to be worth buying it.

That's not cheating!

The computer is the iconic platform for oregon trail. It may technically have been an Apple II or whatever, but I think the list was generally just using the "PC" distinction as just meaning "computer" as opposed to specifically windows-based computer.

Ok, I'll agree that it it better than Bayou Billy, but still I don't like Earthwork Jim.

I understand the nitpick, but most people use "PC" and "home computer" as synonyms.

Bayou Billy featured on Captain N. Games don't get more essential than that.

PC stands for personal computer (as opposed to a mainframe/midrange computer). Apple II, C64, Amiga, Atari ST, Mac, etc all fall under that category. Now if they had said IBM PC that specfically refers to Dos/windows based and would exclude the others.

What? Why wouldn't it be, you play games there for you are a player. The other sentences have action verbs and the last sentence has a noun that's being used as a verb.
