It was about 105 here today. Yesterday, the bank thermometer said 110. It's horrible outside. The heat about knocks you down going from inside a house to the outside. I'm not looking forward to working out in the heat next week. At least we'll have Wednesday off.

I thought about going to my sister's in-law's house today and going for a swim, but I didn't feel right about it. |

Atlanta here. I was outside for like a minute earlier today and I'm still feeling wiped out from the heat.
Yesterday I went to get some groceries, and the walk from the parking lot to the store and back was enough to get a bit of a sunburn. |

I work outside all year around too. Last week pretty much sucked. I was soaked in sweat by 10am everyday. Just kept thinking that I was glad it wasn't 20 below. Reverse and repeat in 6 months.

I'm glad the humidity is low right now in Tennessee. It would be horrible if it was 150%, like it' usually is in the summer.
At least you can put on more clothes when it's cold. |

Oh also, my car's air conditioning is really screwy and only works sometimes. So that's fun.

My blower fan isn't keeping me cool anymore. Looking to get into a cheap and window air conditioner unit. Will prob set an order on this tomorrow and hopefully have it by the end of the week

Here in NYC it's going to be over the 90's for a week straight coming it looks like, Con Edision workers are going to go on strike in about 3 hours so if there are any outages in the whole area we are going to have to burn for who knows how long, it's pretty damn dangerous if the power goes out.

Not used to seeing pics of the Murphy Center on GAF! (MTSU alumni here)
Yes, Middle Tennessee has been an absolute oven the past few days. Thankfully, I have an office job with delicious air conditioning, and have spent all day today basking in glorious a/c as well. |

3 AM, it's 82F here, and had 96 or so during the day. Forecast for Monday/Tuesday is about 99. Apparently it was the hottest June temperature EVER recorded in this country (Austria), and it only is going to get worse; given it's early July, not even August where the temperature just goes through the roof.

My car said 111 while I was in line at Taco Bell.
Since none of the rain to the north or the south has ventured up here in NC the past week the heat has been pretty dry. So it hasn't been so bad humidity wise. My cousin is going ahead with her 1 year old's birthday party in the park tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. Going to hydrate like a mother fucker.
