Does anyone else dunk their biscuits in milk? I've started to do it with cookies and malt biscuits, it's surprisingly nice on nights too warm for tea or coffee.

Yep. Learned that too. And American biscuits are just as good if not better than its European counterparts.

Still, best breakfast baked good is a fresh baguette with fresh butter and jam. Nothing better.

We skipped that part and went straight to discussing pronunciation and spelling differences of the English language.

It's weird that we both use twinkle twinkle little star for the alphabet song even though Zed doesn't rhyme with anything. The origin of the American pronunciation of z probably came from trying to get the song to fit better.

The Brits have some of the most unappealing names for good food.

But yeah, the picture of the British "scone" is just a biscuit. America does those incredibly well at Chik Fil A, KFC, Bojangles thousands of diners across the country, and in any number of Strawberry Shortcake recipes.

We get shit backwards with our Brit brothers and sisters. Chips to them are fries to us. Cookies to them are biscuits to us. Fannies to them are vaginas to us. What a wonderful world!

It might help to explain that sausage gravy is basically just a white sauce cooked with pits of pork sausage in it.

EDIT: Beaten-ish.

And I live in south Florida.

Its funny because Jamaicans would call this just fired dough or a dumpling. Its usually served for breakfast with liver.
