Namco Bandai pulling the rug under Nintendo. Psh, Sora Ltd. thought they were building the mechanics to a new Smash Bros game, but Namco pulled a fast one on them by using those mechanics in their own All Star Franchise Combining game. Nintendo never saw it coming.

That pic in the lower left reminds me of this scene from Brawl.

I was thinking the same thing even though the picture isn't exactly the same.
Sakurai said that it would be quite a while before we hear any news so what could Namco possibly reveal ? Argh! I hate these cryptic teasers.

Even though it sounds like Smash Bros, I'd be surprised if it was Smash Bros. Going by what Sakurai said after Nintendo Direct, I think it's probably too early for them to show anything.
I guess this could also be about Tekken X Street Fighter. That would also be an "All Star Battle". Or how about a Tales of VS sequel?

Project x Zone is being published by Banpresto. This shouldn't have anything to do with it. Though Banpresto is a subsidiary of Bamco..

Not only the nautilus. The aquarium is in two squares as is the statue(?) and clouds likely belonging to one another. Not really sure if it means much but just noting.

Smash Bros Brawl was announced in May 2005.
Development started in October 2005. The Smash Bros. Dojo website updates where from May 2007 to April 2008. If this teaser has anything to do with Smash Bros. 4, then it obviously seems very early to announce anything. Well, perhaps just that it may be returning. As we know, the game was announced last year but development just recently started.

Source? I am pretty sure it is being developed in house at monolithsoft by their crossover team, that did the DS games. Look at the game cover. Banpresto.

They won't let anyone use it except if it's a game FOR Nintendo. |
