I still, to this day, hate that they used that fucking font :lol That still looks pretty good, though, I'll just vote for that because I don't think I've ever been particularly taken by a console design otherwise.

I too hate the Spider-man font. Their switch to the PS3 logo of now was a huge win, but the matt button laden beast of burden that is my current slim cannot match the glossy fucking CLASS of the ol' phat. I can't throw the thing out, despite it now being useless. It is just too sexy a slab of engineering.

I might be alone but I dislike any kind of etching like that on my stuff. I also have this weird thing against any kind of franchise branding. Like I'd never want a specific brand or logo or emblem on my hardware even if I did like where it came fromm My fandom for anything just doesn't run that deep, I suppose.

Silver/chrome is a killer, for me. Just totally offputting, like cheap 90s electronics.

That doesn't look that bad, but it doesn't look good either. I wish blue LEDs would die, as well, I am so sick of blue LEDs. Buy a new PC case, fans included! ALL FANS ARE COVERED IN BLUE LEDs.

At least move on to a new color, or something.

You can say it's tacky all you like, that's entirely subjective.
Back in the day that mirror finish looked great, and certainly sat well with home entertainment design of the time.
