I think there are a few more apps coming.

They were also experimenting with PS Mobile compatibility for PS3. Not sure if they are still trying (or have given up ?).

go to settings, then to system settings, then system information.
it now says Version 4.21 instead of 4.20.

they might revamp the browser in the future i mean

but i cant see anything else being done at all, just a few minor updates

I see. The web browser did get a total revamp in that release. It's a WebKit browser now. You can see the source code on SCEE website. HTML layout complies more to the HTML5 standard, and performs faster too.

4.20 improved it just a little more.

It forced me to update last night when I signed into the PSN store (seems like there's an annoyingly slow update every time I sign in, actually :P). Now the XMB keeps hanging for a few seconds after I do certain things and not letting me navigate until it unfreezes. Good job Sony.

4.21 is a small update. Most people took only a few minutes. On my corporate network, the download and install completed in about a minute.

Since 4.21 is optional, perhaps you updated to 4.20 ?

EDIT: Try to check for system update again. See if 4.21 pops up.

actually it did since the browser was changed to a more webkit based and certain things were updated (more html 5 stuff).

It just wasn't the true update as Jeff was alluding to and to be fair to the guy he even admitted as much.

That more likely stopped long ago once BC was fully removed and cemented once the Slim version came out.
