Good to see that spooby is back at Big 2. Now I have something to look at tonight.

Interestingly enough, with the Deadpool video, it looks as if very specific variants of the capture trick still work (we always assumed you needed a capture type Super in order to trigger it with a DHC). You can easily test the Spiderman/Hulk combo and see if that variant works as well. During our own testing, we found that some captures wouldn't even trigger the DHC trick (like Spiderman's) but obviously it did work in some cases as seen in the Hulk/Spiderman combo. This was also the case with bounce resets - something that Magus first noticed very early on in Vanilla (and still exists in Ultimate). Hopefully we can nail down the specifics to a science. There may be some captures that are very lenient and some that are much more strict. Definitely could increase the usefulness of some characters (such as Deadpool). I look forward to seeing what the test results bring back. Marvel is too crazy! |

Hey, np. It's one of the crazy things about Marvel. Someone notices something, people talk about it for a bit, and then it disappears, only to resurface later and become a major part of the game. I look forward to seeing if we can nail it down... and to see if it becomes consistent enough to move characters around in the rankings.
I'm also interested to see if people end up using that Kubota cancel. It seems to have a lot of potential. We were talking about it at EVO and thought there might be a way to trick the game into letting your primary character come back in after being snapped out, so that people wouldn't be able to snap, say, Phoenix in. Lot's of testing to do! |

Good to see they're there. I was worried that so soon after EVO they wouldn't be able to travel.
I hope they play Injustice and say positive things so the sheep in the community stop crying about it being different from their established idea of a fighting game. |

So you're a sheep if you don't like the look of Injustice from what we've seen? Cool.

I dislike MK, but after the demo at EVO I'm about sold on Injustice. Nightwing being announced only raises my hype.

But.... What if they formed their own opinion based on available info and just don't dig it? They are sheep because it goes against what you think? isn't it sheep like to just like it because some top player played an early build and what they say is law? Mike Ross and Ricky and them were praising SF x tekken up and down.

In fact, "sheep" refers more to the idea that they would be positive toward somthing because Wong talked positively of it, moreso than them being negative. I'm saying the fighting game community responds poorly to change, something most agree with. |

I hope that once opinions from people who have had hands on with the game come out, it will change the opinions of some people who are being hard on it simply for being different.
If positive opinions come from respected community members, it will help even more. That is basically what I was trying to say, with less mad. |
