I highly doubt it. Spencer's assist does nothing for Zero... unlike a Nova. Zero's assist does absolutely nothing for Spencer. Even in Sougenmu it's debatable, but who in their right mind would Sougenmu and DHC out (Tape Bot...) and not just go for lighting loops?
DHC into Spencer is useless if you run Zero on point. Running Zero isn't really that much better... Yea that combo is going to fail. I'm 90% sure Fanatiq will just end up making a Spencer team. P.S You guys notice that the only pad Zero's (or at least notable ones) are all like Anime lovers?

So the Kuwait Marvel qualifiers finished and Mysterious and G-Voice won.
But G-Voice can't travel due to some issues that came up so it will go to 3rd place mesh3l. Unlike Shadowloo, we will make sure that Mysterious does not have visa issues and can participate. The last hour or so of the stream the audio crapped out on us, but Youtube videos of said matches with proper audio will be uploaded in the next few days. You can find the archives here www.twitch.tv/fikrakw Also thanks to USD for helping out on giving the event exposure |

And if he does that, he'll have a Sougenmu'd Zero able to do an awesome projectile assist. |

"It’s my understanding that the concept of a “winner” and a “loser” in a fighting game…or in any videogame for that matter…is a ridiculous absurdity. The sense of competition, the sense of wishing to defeat your enemy…to me, the opponent on the opposite side of the screen ISN’T my enemy. He is another person like me just trying to enjoy himself and have fun with the game." "It’s my experience that a large majority of the fighting game fanbase…unfortunately…have large amounts of anger issues…or problems resolving their anger issues. Why are they angry? Why are they so aggressive? Is it the game’s fault? Nope. The aggression was there before the games existed. The game itself is an outlet of that aggression.?" "It’s when people start taking things seriously that the fun disappears. That’s why I say Professional Gamers need to drop the act and stop pretending they’re getting a salary for being good at a game that will be obsolete in a few years’ time.As much as I like to play…I’m smart enough to know when to call it quits. So I say to you all, obsessed with being the greatest in the world: GET. A. LIFE. A real life. A life worth living. Something that isn’t a bunch of flashing lights or random made-up sounds. I don’t mind making video games for a potential living. It’s fulfilling, it’s educating, it’s fun…I don’t mind writing about them either." ________ What did I just read? I wonder what game this guy lost in that he had to make this post.

Evo 2012 OT 1 happy fishing it's not too deep in. It's just a silly picture of some panties and such. Was hilarious seeing a ton of people go crazy over it. A little too much of a HEY GUYS IMMA GURL for my taste though. But it's all fun and games.

Kadey x Fubar and Kadey x Markman are the worst FGC thread derailers. |

MSS is effective for long sets, and maybe winning a major or two out of 10 you play in, but it has 2 characters with 850k health and a character that's a gamble as anchor. Such a team is going to be randomed out super easily in tourneys. Team Knives in comparision has Spencer with high health, a Sent which is more solid with Tatsu and a better anchor. He needs to work seriously in that team if he wants to be the next J Wong and be a consistent threat for major wins.

http://www.streetfighter25.com/en/tournaments/
Registration for the SF 25th Anniversary tournament series is now open. They even have pay out info available. This is what they'll be paying out in the Austin tournament SF4/SFxT 1st: $2500 2nd: $1250 3rd: $500 4th: $400 5th/6th: $300 each 7th/8th: $200 each 9-13: $150 each 13-16: $125 each 3SO/HDR 1st: $1250 2nd: $750 3rd: $350 4th: $300 5th/6th: $200 each 7th/8th: $150 each 9-13: $87.50 each 13-16: $75 each Total pay out is $21,500 for this event minus the cost of flying them out to San Francisco where the grand finals will be held. In all, there will be 7 of these qualifiers. And assuming they all pay out the same that's $150,500 total for these 7 qualifiers. Information on GF pay outs are also available SF4/SFxT 1st: $25,000(SFxT winner gets the car) 2nd: $10,000 3rd: $5,000 4th: $2,000 5th/6th: $1,000 each 7th/8th: $850 each 9-13: $775 each 13-16: $300 each 3SO/HDR 1st: $3000 2nd: $1500 3rd: $1000 4th: $600 5th/6th: $500 each 7th/8th: $400 each 9-13: $300 each 13-16: $225 each Total pay out for this is 120k for all 4 games combined. Combined with the hypothetical assumption that every qualifier pays out the same as the Austin one and you have 270k total minus trip cost. The car is suppose to be 35k I guess, so that's 305k minus the trip cost. Anyways, it' pretty fun to know what kind of money is on the line. These pots are the highest we've ever seen for Capcom fighters or any fighting games in general I think. 1st place for SFxT or SF4 will far exceed the winner at this years EVO, probably by 10k at least, but certainly more. Now it's time to see who's still hungry after EVO. I kind of doubt that we'll see the Japanese so soon after EVO. But I get the feeling that Infiltration and Laugh have there eyes on each of these qualifiers. It wouldn't surprise me if we see Laugh and Infiltration in Texas at the end of this month. Which would bad news for Americans since Infiltration in particular looked so dominant in SF4 and SFxT, and these two are the money games of this tournament series. Guys like JWong, Ricky, or Latif better be working hard on there game if they don't want Infil to come and win for free again, that's if he shows up. Will anybody from GAF be attending the Austin one? Unfortunately, none of these events are close to where I live(NC) so I won't be attending any.

It's tight timing but Zero Ryuenjin also allows Spencer to get an additional Upgrapple depending on the combo you use. It's situational but it's still applicable. They also have other synergy that makes the duo interesting, Bionic Arm DHC into Sougenmu is a free Lightning Loop , similar to Karsticles doing soul fist loops after Bionic Arm. If the Bionic arm whiffs you're still safe with an install super, generally. DHCing into Spencer is a little tricky but you can do Rekkouha > Whiff Bionic Arm into Upgrapple and use the Zipline to get another upgrapple, that still does more damage than a raw Bionic arm at full damage scaling. The other thing you can do is if you want Sougenmu Zero for whatever reason DHC into Bionic Maneuvers and get a Zipline for another upgrapple. Total damage is about 80k less than Rekkouha > Bionic arm DHC but it's interesting. Of course granted if you're running Zero on point using Spencer isn't a problem from running combo extension, the problem lies in neutral game assist. It's still not as bad a combination as it may seem at first glance.

Ehhh...
Funkdoc was blown up. He thought Tokido and Mago weren't shit compared to Kaoru in KOF 13 and yet they placed as good and better than him. He also tried to make it seem like Bala wasn't as impressive as everyone thought he was. Get blown up son. |
