We finally got Sherry back after 14 years. This could have been the definitive Resident Evil(story,character wise) if we didn't have filler characters that nobody cares about.

Leon & Ada or Claire
Chris & Jill
Would have satisfied everyone.

Just freakn show a second of Rebecca & Barry sitting at the BSAA HQ.
and people would be satisfied.

There were so many OPEN OPPORTUNITIES for characters from Revelations to return as well, but I doubt we'll see any of them come back.

Exactly, hell I have been saying that for awhile.
At the least you can even just bring it up with the conversations in slower segments of the game.

Chris partner could be like, "So whatever happened to sheva after the whole incident in africa?
Chris then could just fo "She's actually head of the BSAA African division now"
Simple shit like that goes a long way for the fans.

actually i quite like that they keep bringing in new characters. gives the impression of a bigger world and allows for new interesting personalities. using the same old characters repeatedly is just stupid from a story point of view and is pointless fan service.

Well. I was the one who said Ninja Gaiden 3 will be bad as well ;)

This game is very far from being bad as someone try to make it. The whole new system they introduce is good and has a lot of potential. Most of the problem people has is it not well inplemented and need adjustment. Like the camera and screen tearing. Or the enemy need more reaction to the bullet. Its all (unfortunately many) small things that the developer can fix here and there. Unless u see any huge problem that could not be fix at all without scrap the whole game?

They keep introducing these people without any follow up. I would love to see a game where Jill Claire Chris Leon are finally in together...

The camera is those comparison does look better, but I'd really need to see side by side of the same location before I put this concern to rest.

based on the demo, the camera shifts dynamically based on your location, so the slightly more pulled back camera could just be showing that and the camera as whole hasn't been changed.

Let's not forget the camera in the E3 demo, it was roughly the same as the RE4 camera but the demo camera was considerably closer...

It does look better from what I can tell. It's not exactly lodged in the shoulder anymore.

thank god they fixed the camera. also, they greatly reduced the tearing too yes? panic over. i liked what i played of the demo those two glaring issues aside.

Yeah the 360 demos I've been seeing from the newer builds from Comic-con had no screen-tearing that I could see. It was crazy apparent in the Dragon's Dogma RE6 demo.

But I'm getting it for PS3. =P

Did you read the rest of the posts where someone pointed out I was using the wrong screenshot and then took screengrabs from all of the direct feed videos from Comic Con showing the clear improvement of the camera? Or are you just trolling?

i think it looks pretty good now. if anything i would zoom it out a tiny bit and place it higher, but it seems pretty good

Oh man my type of game, I sinked several hours into RE5, though not so much coop or multiplayer. I hope since this is more coop focused they kinda beef up the AI on the computer player this time around.

It probably makes sense to Capcpom. Plus the cross-hairs go away when you turn the HUD off.

Sure it does. The laser sight has the same function as the crosshair dot you see in other games, and shows you where you're pointing, while the crosshairs themselves show how accurate your shot is going to be.

Holy shit. This is what I was looking for. Leon's segment, and even Chris's, had some nice atmosphere. Jake's segment was less impressive but it at least looks like some good old Nemesis stuff.

Everything else about the game is pissing me off, especially the enemies with guns and the constant QTEs.

Yeah the problem with Jake's segment though was it was one of those parts where he teams up with Leon and Helena, so that part will come up with Leon and Helena too. They should've shown something that was more about Jake's exclusive segments.
