Could you guys please crosscheck your gifts in the OP? Just to make sure. Everything in cursive is still in your hands (which is fine), while non cursive gifts should be stuff that you gave me. Just so I can be sure I didnt mess that up :p
No worries ;)

EDIT: Oh drop. Gottcha. EDIT 2: So wait, when I do drop the molecule just sits there. It doesn't seem to accept the output. EDIT 3: Okay I got it.

Crazy question, but there's method to my madness: Could someone conjure up a screenshot of Crossover, please, with the Waldo starts tucked away in the top-left and bottom-left hand corners (so the lines disappear off the edge of the screen)?
I'm gonna try *drawing* a solution! That, I think I can do before the deadline. I'll implement it properly in Spacechem after I get home, but I want to get my basic idea locked down first. Edit: Oh, Toma? £15, not $15. It probably works out at around $20, although I daresay pricing differences are going to make it weird :-)

Those in/out things are always needed to actually send the molecules away or receive them, whereas the grab/drop is need so that you can actually work with the molecules by moving them.
Edit: There you go

The easiest way is to have each ray pick up one, have one color drop it, and the other bond it. Voila! Edit: Or only use one as S. L. said, this could look like this: ![]() On the first round he'll pick up the atom before and then goes through the 3 spaces. 1. Wont do anything because there is nothing to bond 2. Will drop it 3. Can't grab anything On the second round it will behave like this: 1. Will bond with the atom already lying on 2 2. Will drop the bonded molecule 3. Will grab it again so you can drop it later for the output

You also don't need to be holding onto the atom you're bonding. |

No entries anymore for day 1!
Quote:
| Voting Procedure | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CLICK THIS LINK FOR THE POST THAT INCLUDES ALL THE CONTEST SUBMISSIONS I'd appreciate if someone would like to take the vote count (since I am actually working now) and PM me the results in one hour (1 hour after the new dailies should have been up, 8pm GMT+1). Please also mention in this thread that you will count, so we dont have 40 people counting. -You have exactly one hour time to vote. -You will vote on all the #2 entries in the OP. -Dont vote for EatChildren, since he doesnt want to win anything. -Please state your vote winner in this thread, at the beginning of your post. -Don't vote for yourself "Favorite/Winner/Whatever: xyz Ohhh that was so great, but I dont like this Toma guy." is fine, while "OMGASPLOSION, thatwassoterriblef***metwicexyzwasbest" is not. If you absolutely cant decide between two entries, you are free to divide your vote. This will be counted accordingly. Your votes then count "a:0,5"/"b:0,5" instead of "a:1". All this will be added up, and the highest score wins a price from the pile :) The other win in this contest goes to a random entry. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | Further Procedure | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'll be back in one hour with hopefully someone sending me the results via PM, otherwise it will take a bit longer. Then we'll do the small surprise I was talking about, and after that I'll announce the winners plus their games for both contests. Please be a bit patient, since I am working next to doing this and dont bother me every 20 seconds about your gift ;) If I havent contacted you until tomorrow, feel free to be worried though. During the rest of the day, I'll announce the next 3 competitions, probably within another hour, though.
