Well they say its mission based so I think they mean you have to fully complete a mission in one go. Sounds like Left 4 Dead style.

The goal might simply be to have one survivor last ten hours worth of play, or something like that, and every time you 'quit' it simply makes note of where you last were, picking up immediately from there. That way there's no traditional saving or checkpointing, nor any real way to 'cheat' the system. I could be wrong though. That's just how I'd do it. |

No, no relation, other than they're both launch games and I've suffered before from screenshots made to make the game look prettier.

Yeah, I watched just now, and I'm really impressed - both inside and outside, the game looks amazing. I hope they continue to work hard on it, as this is already set up to be a great launch title. With some neat gameplay features and mechanics such as the one-life type system, this is going to be great.

The shooting mechanics looks awful. There's like a jerkiness Also, there doesn't seem to be any weight, especially the zombies when they fall.
Other than that, the game looks great graphically and should be fun. |

It looks so much better now that I have no idea how early that footage must have been. |

THE Wii U game I'm really interested in. I said before but Ubisoft has done a better job selling me on the system (Zombi U and Rayman Legends) then Nintendo itself has. This is my launch game. Glad the game looks even better now and looking forward to Gamescom to see what else is shown.

That's another thing they seem to be doing right compared to Nintendo, their miiverse functionality in NSMBU looks relatively uninteresting so far - unless there's ghost speedruns in it or something, that would be pretty cool. That awesome rendition of god save the queen needs to be somewhere in the game, too.

Definitely not just you. I remember being really underwhelmed by how flat the game looked during the E3 reveal week and during walkthrus. It looks pretty damned great now though, only thing is the zombies seem to lack weight like Jason mentioned. They have time to polish it even further though, so I'm pretty pumped

I know that if i wasn't overly careful already then i would begin to move at snail speeds and closely observe everything even more in order to make sure that character lives.
