I think there may be more to it than that, its likely that some stuff went on behind the scenes that caused this.

Pretty sure it's a fair bit more complex than that, but it does sound like it's easier than XBLA. But then stuff sells better on XBLA, so it might be worth the effort.

I know its more complex, i'm just saying that they might bend their own rules regarding exclusive content when it comes to putting games on PSN that have been big hits on other platforms.

It's great that they put the game out on other platforms, but when I picked up their game day one and wasn't even offered to buy any of the additional stuff they've produced, I feel that there are plenty of other indie devs I'd rather support than these guys. Especially coupled with their complete silence with regards to the PSN version.

Sony should have dont a better job signing them to a deal after the first game.
I bet the pub fund contract probably has a clause now stating at any sequel has to make a appearance on a sony platform at launch now or something because of this. I guess it only makes sense a developer would jump to another platform if they can get a better deal but Hello Games could have done a better job not coming across like jackasses doing it. |

I don't even think it's been close for 2012, but please don't turn this into a list war.

Not all gamers have all systems. But saying you are skipping a good game just because of some system war stuff is silly. If you like the game, get it when it comes to the platform you own.

(rightly or wrongly) feel that they had a part in making the first game a success. |

Joe Danger actually sold better on PSN. They sold more in one week on PSN than in months on XBLA.

Yep. A friend of mine bought it off PSN, so I got to play around with it, and frankly it was a snoozefest.

That's not comparable either. |

Going to be interesting to see how it sells as A) the first one didn't set the XBLA world on fire, B) it's coming out after SoA and C) Trials Evo sold a ton and people think the game is similar. |

Because a game is never going to sell as well when it shows up a year or two later on another platform? Seems like common sense to me. |
