I remember reading an obscure political blog (that I can't seem to find) on how the 90's was the decade of water - water symbolizing the abundance and limitless possibility in the wake of the massive economic growth many first world nations had. And you can see it on iconic 90's things like - Waterworld, the Nevermind cover, Titanic, the rise of new age music.

Man I really hate it when content that I love/need suddenly disappears from the internet. I wanted to show the click clacks video to someone when I discovered the whole channel is gone. Can't find mirrors either.

A while ago I wanted to see an instructional/reference video that I had once seen, but the whole channel was gone too. I searched all over the interwebs for it, or even something remotely similar, without luck.

In the past we used to download videos to our hardrives, because bandwidth was in short supply. It feels pointless and unpractical to save youtube videos these days, but things like this prove that not everything on the internet is permanent.
