Did anyone here follow his recent collaboration with Robert Kirkman 'The Infinite'?
I just googled it and it looks like he chose to quite the project. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/01/...e-differences/ This seemed like his big opportunity to get back to the top of the industry. I still can't believe he quit a Robert Kirkman project. |

"You created X-Force?" "Mmmm-hmmm." yeah, Louise Simonson had nothing to do with any of those characters. |

I recently went to my friends house to check out his wii. I was generally impressed. It was larger than I expected though.

This is a good shift, as much as I'll miss some of these guys on superhero books. This generation of creators, especially on the writing side, has been
doing these books too long. It's time to let others in, and let the second stringers get a chance at the big time to get eyes on their work and send us to a new direction. It might be awhile before we get a new crop as beloved as Ellis, Vaughan, Morrison, etc, though. But in the meantime, guys like Hickman and Lemire can fill the void. As for conditions being a bear, yet still having fun, he's probably referring to the people he works with being solid, but the reality is, having the highest end creators on monthly books and ending up with three issues a year was NOT good for the medium. Planetary can come out whenever the fuck; Batman should be a monthly book. The days of Ellis turning in two scripts a year on a top tier book are over, and monthly work is a pain in the ass for artists, even ones like Liefeld.

"We were gonna get Frank Quitely, but we decided because he's leaving soon, Liefeld would be a better choice." |

...wow ! Also, sad for Morrison, but it is the balance of the universe for a loss like Liefeld |

I'm honestly surprised he kept getting work. It's not like there's a shortage of artists is there?
What's wrong with Jeph Loeb again? I think the only thing of his I read was Superman/Batman and it wasn't bad at all. Isn't "The Long Halloween" pretty critically acclaimed? |
