This is absolutely something that should be experienced. I won't spoil anything except to momentarily illustrate the incredible art shift in this episode, but what makes this episode so special runs far deeper than that. The execution is astounding. It's breathtakingly beautiful. Watch it.

uh...
K-On or iDOLM@STER. It's the future look of all anime. If you only take the first part into consideration. The third part is poo. Urgh. Outfits on figurines made of cloth are a huge no no. |

Accel World 18
![]() Essentially probably the worst episode ever, I mean, we didnt even see Haru or Taku or Nomi. Oddly it feels as if it is the sort of material to inspire people to make Kuroyukihime x Megumi fanfictions and fanarts (that sun lotion scene) :( Regardless, only the last 1.3 minutes of the episode was actually something that didnt feel like a filler sidestory. Ending spoiler The 1st grader is actually level 7 and has his own "guild" of sorts, lol, thats really impressive. I hope we see his real form.. |

Seconding dakkumauji's response. All of the episodes are self-contained and feature a new character each week anyway.
You may also be interested in episodes five, eight, and sixteen, all of which are good standalone episodes too. All you need to know about the series is the premise, which is basically that female versions of historical figures from Japan's Sengoku era have been magically transported to the present day and are finding their way in a world where warlords no longer exist. |

Student council president doesn't like to study her ass off only to lose to Kyouko, who barely studies at all. I've been there, done that. Into the acceptance stage with that one, though I sometimes have short emo spurts. >> Ayano's totally my favorite. Dat Tsundere! Dat ponytail! <3 So much yuri! <3 I love when girls fight in anime using EXTREMELY polite speech. It's quite amusing. DOUBLE SHOCK! Also, boobie slapping. |

Akarin, y u so boring? Even the anime crew don't give a shit. Your hair buns are more interesting than you. Yui decides to live on her own because reasons. Iiya~n! Chinatsu's got it bad. Silly anime makers, there's no Dragon Quest on PS3. Also, I totally level up my characters in one spot like that in RPGs if I'm getting tired of a game. >>; Yui... Kyouko... bed... So... close... and yet... so far... >>; I like Cheria myself, but Sophie is adorably pet-able. ^^; |

Gundam 00 Season 2 Episodes 1-5
Show feels really weird, its hard to explain. I think I like it so far. Am I crazy or is the art in season 2 different? Seems alot cleaner or something. also what was the point of Kinue in the first season? added nothing to the show, just a waste of screen time.

Sengoku Collection 19:
Quote:
Notable within the episode was the reuse of characters from previous weeks portraying entirely different characters within Akechi's dream. Even with their identities changed, the relationships between these characters still paralleled those of their Sengoku selves, and through that it was possible to guess the episode's "twist" (Akechi being the murderer) ahead of time. For instance, the face of the murder victim remains unknown for the majority of the episode, however the victim's two sisters take the form of Tokugawa Ieyasu and Toyotomi Hideyoshi, two of the three daimyo credited with the unification of Japan. Two "rivals" of the murder victim, Imagawa Yoshimoto and Matsunaga Hisahide, are interviewed as suspects. The only character that logically fits both roles (aided in the unification of Japan and had Imagawa and Hisahide as enemies) is Nobunaga, and I enjoyed the deliberate clue-dropping through the use of familiar faces. I'm definitely interested to see whether or not the show will actually decide to leave Nobunaga dead for good, especially in consideration that the end of the episode indicated that Akechi's dream was indeed after the fact. I don't think that a really interesting finale is out of the question. |
