I was initially skeptical about the 7-inch form factor, but the Nexus 7 sold me on it. |

What do you guys put your phones through? I'm on my 3GS and it's still very much alive and kicking. Probably have jailbroken it over 20 times in that period too. |

I don't and I can hold it pretty well. I do think that an 8" tablet will be a lot lighter and easier to hold.

Meh, there's an iPad mini/larger iPhone rumor every year. I never put stock in it.
As for the dates, HYPE! I've had my 4 since release day, so I'm anxious for something new. But still so far away. |

It's a lot different this time. WSJ/NYTimes are reporting on iPad mini, it isn't just internet talk. And we have actually seen pictures of the molds for it. It's 100% happening.

They want it to be all chrome and shiny. However, all that metal means interference for the antennas. As such, they put black strips of plastics at the top and bottom, where the antennas are located. Same thing was done on the original iPhone (except only at the bottom).

1) It's outside warranty anyways 2) They would say it broke due to abuse. |

My fiancee dropped her iPhone 4 that she never had apple care on over a year after owning it and it broke one of the volume buttons. She set up a apple store appointment and they right then and there gave her a new iPhone 4 for free. |

I hope they offer an LTE option in the iPad mini too, 'cuz while I like the Nexus 7, its usefulness to me is limited because it's wifi-only. I have an LTE iPad 3, but, I really like the 7-8" form factor more (and hopefully this would be lightweight since I'm guessing it won't have a retina screen...).

I'm still hoping this will signal a shift to 16:9 or 16:10 across their whole iphone/ipad line, and not just iphones as rumored. far better for video consumption versus 4:3, which is what I'm assuming is the bulk of ipad usage, and at a high enough resolution (1080p or 1280x800) is decent enough for everything else. app devs will manage
mostly, though, a 7"/7.7" 4:3 would just be awkward as hell (and fuck going back to 1024x768) |

lolll same here. When do you plan on putting it up for sale and for how much? I haven't even checked what they're going for on craigslist right now. I got a factory unlocked white 16GB 4S. Mint condition.

I am on a 2 yr old OG EVO 4g. I have refused to upgrade to anything else since this phone has everything I needed. It took Apple 2 years to catch up to what this phone has in it...but now that it has it may be time for me to own my first Apple product..

Have gone the eBay route thus far with good success so I'll probably keep going there until I get burned. Had a bad Craigslist experience that put me off the service, personally. ~$300 is typically normal, though. |

Apple products have amazing resale value. If your phone is still in perfect condition 300 is definitely way too low to sell your 4S. 400 MINIMUM, closer to 450-500. 450 would be an easy sell.
