So you're saying Bones should move up to heavyweight to challenge himself and prove his greatness? I agree. Maybe Anderson should give that a try.

Bones has shown a willingness to head to heavyweight, but Dana seems very apprehensive to let him do it until it's absolutely necessary. There's a lot of big hitters up there that could derail one of his biggest stars, so I understand his point of view. It's clear he want Bones to milk LHW for all it's worth.

It's great that Bones is willing to take those kind of risks though, I respect that.

I thought Shogun was a cert for this but people have reminded me that Vera has legit stand up. He's also a big LHW that used to fight quite comfortably as a HW.

Shogun is def better all around but if out of shape Shogun turns up and tries to slug it out with Vera it could be an upset.

Pretty confident that Machida will handle Bader pretty well though.

Excited to see Mike 'quick' Swick fighting again too, it's been a while!

Thanks for the lines -- never look at them but they're always interesting. Surprised Machida is such a big favorite over Bader. The odds of a LNP performance are quite high in that one. Also surprised Creepy Joe has the edge over Varner. It's Varner but his Barboza performance has to count for something right? (I'll be cheering for Creepy Joe by a longshot.) The Shogun line seems about right.

Machida's TDD is too good for him to get LnP'd and Bader too slow and doesn't mix his strikes and takedowns well. Unless Machida comes out like he did against Rampage I'd expect him to handily beat Bader.
