from their Japanese website:
Microsft Windows Vista ® / Windows 7: OS CPU: 2.4GHz or Intel ® Core2Duo 2.0GHz AthlonX2 more than 2GB: Main Memory DirectX ® 10/11: graphics board or more ATI Radeon 3870 or AMD ATI card NVIDIA ® GeForce8800GT or NVIDIA ® more than 320MB: graphics memory 10GB: HDD capacity disk drive ^I'm guessing minimal requirments, the Google translation isn't that great.

Same, that card lasted me for years, and evidently as long as I didn't want to play on maximum settings I could still use it quite happily today.
Got a GTX 460 when I got a new PC, which seems like it's from the same class of card - not top of the range, but more than good enough for all but the most demanding games. |

Maybe the next console generation will change it some, but the NEED for stronger graphic cards is less than it's ever been, or at least has been since the 3D card became a staple. Only now is the 8800GT/9800GT insufficient for some games, and by insufficient I mean looking half decent, not being out and out unplayable, as I'm sure even the Witcher 2 could be played with all settings set very low so long as you had a strong enough CPU! If you had a similar card from the 90s, let's say the Voodoo 2, it wouldn't have lasted a quarter as long.
