Only seen 1 or 2 episodes of Workaholics and it definitely wasn't for me so I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. I have faith, but after years of waiting, if the return of this show is anything less than perfect everybody is going to be so disappointed.

Hell yeah Party Down, what a great show. I just recently got into Workaholics(I recommend the episode "To friend a predator", as that's the one that hooked me) and wouldn't be surprised if this whole deal is just the guys making a cameo on AD. For the record I would also like to be wrong.

I'm currently watching season 1 after I was told it gets better, but yeah...it's not getting better. I'm finding South Park a lot more funnier, just what am I missing/not getting with regard to this show?

I won't deny it's made me laugh a few times, but it's not consistent and some of the jokes fall completely flat.

I'll stick with it and hope it 'clicks', but as it stands, South Park is the superior show in terms of laughs and keeping my attention.

I don't think age matters. I'm 29 and love both shows.

But comparing Arrested Development to South Park is just bizarre. Ren and Stimpy probably gets more belly laughs out of me but I'm not going to put it above Arrested Development.

You raise an interesting point. maybe it was a mistake to watch them together, think I'll drop SP for now and focus solely on AD. maybe it will finally 'click' as I won't be constantly comparing the two.

I would imagine that they've been coordinating with Up All Night for the Gob. Wouldn't be surprised if Spivey gives him an episode off, or the ADs mess with his schedule enough so that he has blocks of time near the start of the season to do both.
