Try it, it's free on Android. No ads. If you want to retry songs immediately, and if you want to remove the timer that appears before starting songs, you need to pay 1.99 USD. It's worth it; the game is absolutely addicting.
The iOS version costs 1.99 USD, but also features more songs. Android users receive more songs as there are more paid downloads.

For those trying this game, I'd suggest enabling the rumble feature. Just as with Elite Beat Agents, the force feedback enhances the experience.

*Game can be somewhat difficult with the Galaxy S3. The large screen makes it hard for your thumbs to reach all touch-buttons.

This is fantastic. Played four tracks and I'm having a blast so far. It feels a lot more intuitive than any other music games I've played (which is admittedly few, as I don't usually enjoy them).

Also, from the Google Play site:
Quote:
From Ver.2.0.0 onwards, Rayark team comes out with a plan, that is bold & experimental; with every 100,000 paid downloads, a new chapter that includes 10 new songs will be unlocked. The complete story of Cytus consists of 10 chapters, 100 songs thereof can be played as a whole, as long as the plan goes through in terms of having all 10 chapters unlocked.
Having attempted to execute such a plan, we intend to dodge the commonly used in-app purchased song packs in the contemporary music games. We are relying on each of every gamer to spontaneously promote Cytus to others for its quality content as well as friendly price. Together, we have a chance to make Cytus the one and only: a classic music game with a hundred songs to play!

Was bored so I searched Cytus and saw this thread!

Found something out today... I'll copy what I posted in the Android gaming thread

With Cytus I thought there was a bug. I beat all the songs on hard for both chapter 2 and 3 and it still said I only completed 8/9 and 9/10. I emailed the devs saying I thought I ran into a bug, but they emailed me back saying

Quote:
Well that is not a bug :P

We hide one hidden track on each chapter (Chapter 2 & 3)

The hidden tracks need special gestures to unlock

1.Sliding down Precipitation with two fingers.
2.highlight Saika, click[彩],[華] and the petal on that girl
(If you can't see in Chinese, just click that two Chinese words and petal.)

You will see loading icon surrounding with red light if succeed.

Hope you enjoy our little easter egg:)
This game really needs more love! Only 1728 people bought as of 8-8 according to the site. Hope they reach their goal so we can keep getting new songs!!

Man, some of these songs are ridiculous, but so fun. Halcyon is pretty crazy with all the rapid taps and stuff.

Fun game, but I think they have lofty expectations for the 100k per chapter thing.

Just as a clarification since the OP doesn't say it- 100k purchases for a chapter unlock are for both Android and iOS. Not just Android.

Still having a blast though.
