Patting your head and rubbing your belly is the future of the gaming medium.

Would be nice if this thread leads to somebody saying "oh, that's clearly fake! I use that program all the time and it's xxx".
But as always with DaE, guessing we continue to live in the gray area LOL. Guy is so cagey. Perhaps if tons more follow him because of this thread though he will release more. Or not. |

If its real it looks like a shit ton more data is being captured, which means a higher res camera.. likely HD on the Kinect 2. This should open up the possibility for game play from full body limb tracking games to finger, head movements and more minority report-like gesture control.
Real Kinect, is Kinect 2 I gather. |

the reason for 30FPS last time was because of the hardware of the Xbox360 the USB / CPU wasn't up to the task of processing 60FPS depth data plus RGB video all while controlling the games. this time they will have faster USB interface , CPU\GPU made for processing this type of data & they should have a faster camera so everything should work just fine. |

I don't know if there was a Microsoft Xbox Studio for Xbox 360, but I did a quick google search and "Microsoft Xbox Studio" does appear in a former Ruffian Games QA Tester's linkedin profile (he worked there from Feb 2012 to May 2012).

Last dev software picture that was "leaked" by him looked like the basic XNA tools you can download and use for free as a Student.
edit: Also, shoving the work "leak" or whatever else bullshit you want will basically cover your exif data and say you used an editor and it can cover any potential dickery you used in photoshop. |
