I don't really see the point of Shenmue HD unless they make Shenmue 3. Why would you buy into a story knowing it's not going to be finished?

When I was a Kid I read everything I could on Shenmue, I was sooo excited to play it, but I never could afford a Dreamcast and eventually I focused on other things. I never got to play the Shenmue games even thou I really want to.

So for me a HD Shenmue collection would be great!

Sega should have been aiming for that though. Now it's coming out in Fall essentially and has to compete with some of the other heavy hitters. It's going to be promptly buried and forgotten.

Come to think of it... Sega's never made any mention of porting their Xbox 1 stuff like... ever, have they? I wonder if they're even capable of doing it (or doing a good job, more precisely.) Either way, Sega's early Xbox lineup was some of the best work they've ever done.

It's not all bad I'm just happy I got to play Ocarina Of Time around the same time, another game I was VERY excited to play, I kept reading any magazine that had any info in it, every bit of new info made me sure it was going to be my favourite game ever "WOW you can ride a horse!?
