Experiments have been done with people wearing 'upside down' glasses. After having worn the glasses for a while their brains adapted to the upside down world.

I just read some more on it and it seems the visual field does remain upside down, but people got used to it.

it could also be reversed by wearing other glasses that turn the world "the normal way" again, right? if i remember/understand correctly.
