A Star is Burns has a lot of good quotes too:
"Barney's movie had heart. But Football To The Groin, had a football to the groin." "...Schindler and I are like peas in a pod: We're both factory owners, we both made shells for the Nazis, but mine worked, dammit!" "Boo Urns" "Just hook it to my veins!!!" |

Owner: Take this object, but beware it carries a terrible curse!
Homer: [worried] Ooooh, that's bad. Owner: But it comes with a free Frogurt! Homer: [relieved] That's good. Owner: The Frogurt is also cursed. Homer: [worried] That's bad. Owner: But you get your choice of topping! Homer: [relieved] That's good. Owner: The toppings contains Potassium Benzoate. Homer: [stares] Owner: That's bad. |

King of the Hill also made great use of guest stars, especially when they weren't playing themselves. Brad Pitt, Alan Rickman, Johnny Depp...

I love the tomacco episode.
Also in the Summer of 4 Ft. 2 epsiode, there is a line that goes like this basically (I am probably remembering it wrong) Lisa didn't put anything in her suitcase Homer picks it up and says something about it being lite and easy to pick up or something. Lisa says sarcastically "or maybe you are just getting stronger" Then Homer goes "Well, I HAVE been eating more lately" or something like that. Damn, I thought it was funny, hehe. |

My favorite slapstick bit from the Simpsons is the one with the waiter.
And the soup exchange between the waiter and Quimby's nephew is hilarious (at least in German), I quote it all the time (and no one gets what I'm talking about). And of course the courtroom scenes with Homer! |

I agree with most of the episodes mentionned. But why no love for Lisa's First Word ?
Maybe it's only that good in French ? Also, two friends of mine (which are also big Simpsons fans) and I did a "Simpsons Night" and one of them wouldn't stop talking about how great "Bart on the Road" was. We didn't remember it being that good so we watched it and it's really one of the funniest.

Skinner: "I know you can ready my thoughts, Bart. And when I find out you've been skipping class - your ass is mine. That's right. I think words I never say."
Homer: "I know you can read my thoughts boy. Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow." |

Such a good episode. A constant bombardment of incredible. Dare I say almost every scene is classic. I watched it again semi-recently and couldn't believe how hilarious even the scenes I'd forgotten were.

Man you're slow, Homer.
*Zoom into Homer's brain* Something said. Not good. *Zoom out. It's night time and Lenny is getting a glass of water* You still here? Man, you really are slow. Something said. Not good. GET OUT! You guessed it. Secrets of a Successful Marriage. |

Why did you describe one of the best episodes of the series and give it the name of one of the worst episodes of the series? That seriously made me cry a little inside.

Last Exit to Springfield is probably the best episode, but season 5 was the best overall season. |

Not the greatest episode, but definitely a great one from one of the later seasons during "the grand decline"
Much Apu About Nothing, Season 7
