Not that Patrick doesn't deserve it, but what kind of company is cool with letting an employee be gone for two months?
CBS must have a huge human resources department and a thick employee handbook, like any other major company... A two-month absence is quite a feat. Anyway, Patrick is fine on the podcast. Some of you guys seriously need to let it go. I can see complaining for a month or two while someone is new, but it's been like 16 months now. He belongs. |

10 days of annual vacation and three days of bereavement leave is standard here, and if you're fairly easy to replace and you try and go over those limits then you will more than likely be fired.

Holy shit, I thought I was the only one who got irrationally annoyed by people who pronounces "experiment" like "ex-spearmint".
Oddly related, the first time I noticed I was annoyed by it was while marathoning Mythbusters and noticing Kari Byron overuses and cannot pronounce the damned word. |
