Dunno about the rest of GAF, but I'm pretty pumped for XIII-3. The ending of XIII-2 was so so good.

I really liked that ending too. It was probably my favorite point in either game because of the sense of urgency created. Makes me have some interest in a XIII-3.

Of course not, why would they show Versus here before Japan when it's a Nomura project...

FFX-HD, Type-0 and Versus won't be at this event. This is all about Lightning and Toriyama >_>

TGS should have Type-0 and Versus though.

I'm cool with more XIII-2/XIII-3 stuff, but I really wish there some kind of progress on the Type-0 situation. :/

What do you think the chances are that they release it on Vita through PSN?

I have zero problem with a XIII-3. Played the shit out of both XIII and XIII-2, I would gladly enjoy more.

Exactly. The way they played it up and then just took a giant left turn... I might have been expecting something like that from Square back in the day or a Persona game, but I honestly did not see that coming at all from present-day Squenix.

They need to announce at least two handheld spin-offs first

It does seem strange that they've been calling it the next in the Lightning Saga. Kind of feels like it may be something other than the predictable console XIII-3.

I'm pumped I'll never have to spend another dime on the FF franchise since they have no plans of fixing the series.

This is pretty great, Square Enix is really becoming an international company right now. An announcement at the same time in different parts of the world? Fuck yes.

They really have to speak about FF X HD. To be honest that game can easily sell as many copies as FFXIII-3 and will require much lesser investment.

While they're at it a mention of Type-0 would be very nice.

That could be it actually, or maybe just releasing XIII-3 in a kinda different way (that is through an episodic structure released from time to time DD). I remember Kitase way back saying that they're planning something different for the next XIII, so I thought this may be it. Afterall, XIII's series always wanted to be a serial-series.

Why stop at 2 player co-opp, they can make it 4 player co-opp, MMO style and mission based if they wanted to and it would be awesome....

I got distracted from XIII-2 but I like what I've played and I'd probably be ok with XIII-3. XIII-2 is basically the handful of good things about XIII without the ridiculous linearity.
