Compared to previous console launches, I'm kinda in-between the hype levels of the Nintendo 64 (so hyped as a kid!) and the DS (Okay, I might be getting one of those).

Launch window is solid and I almost always enjoy first party Nintendo games, plus I'm excited that Nintendo is actually going to digitally release all of their titles, so I'll likely pre-order on day 1.

I'm neutral, strangely enough. That sounds bad, but I was neutral for the Wii launch as well. There are games I look forward to playing on the WIi U, but I've not been psyched since the 64. I wasn't sold on the GameCube until 2 weeks after launch I decided to finally play Wave Race on display. I decided that weekend I would go on a GameCube hunt just for that game.

I don't know if it's just age, or the lack of major things that make me go "I need that now!" on console releases. Either way, it's not as exciting as it used to be.

I'm allways hyped for new hardware but that hype will tripple if they announce a game I want. Like F-Zero/Zelda/3D Mario/Metroid/DK.

Hyped for the launch window (Pikmin3, New Mario U, P100, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, TokiTori2, Trine2, Assassins Creed3, Fifa13, Alien Colonial Marines) but scared about the lack of vision about 2013 and about the lack of Japanese support.
Hopefully Nintendo Direct will fill these gaps
