Bethsoft Fallout is too real-time action-y to be up Obsidian's alley, anyway, IMO. Wasteland's more deliberate and tactical nature suits their more dense narratives much better. Besides, I'd like to see Avellone's work with WL2 continue and include other Obsidian stars for WL3.

If it's on the current generation consoles and engine they use they won't be able to. They had to butcher the strip in New Vegas to get it to run on consoles and it was only recently unlocked for PC users.

...every fallout and bethesda thread are instantly spammed by a bunch of 'lol bethesda' obsidian circlejerk posts nowadays, jeez - both devs have their strong and weak points and are exceptional in their own regard
on topic: Boston? I find that a bit too safe, but I'm really eager to see what bethesda can do with next-gen hardware ( if this is next-gen ), as they sure as hell could use more power *zzz ps3 gamebryo games* this could be something exceptional |

Same here. I hated having to take the trip to Rivet City. I seriously dreaded it every time. I spent 99% of that game out in the regular wasteland. Same thing with NV.
