I'd just like to know, more flack for my political arsenal. So is this being presented at the RNC this year?

So true. I'm actually a registered Republican still but I just can't see any possible way that anyone who isn't SUPER right wing could vote for the party leadership at this point. It has utterly been co-opted by zealots.

This just sounds absolutely bonkers to me. Is the GOP that far extreme? Holy shit. I heard someone say something to the effect of, "republican voters typically think the republican party is a lot more moderate than they actually are".
Maybe this will be the straw to break the proverbial camel's back. |

I have to admire the consistency. If you are going to protect the fetus, then protect it in all circumstances. Rape is a terrible thing, but in this view so is killing a fetus making this arguement simple.
Curious what this will do to the republican female demographic. If you have ever had an abortion, or want that option in the future, then I suppose you can't vote republican. |

I was talking about calm discourse between neighbors and communities. Ideological lines in the sand are like battle lines, and it's not OK when someone forces a belief on your or your body.
Fuck money, I'm talking about lives, bodies and very very very private things. This isn't about how much we're getting taxed, this is about direct and intrusive control over lives, plural. It just sickens me that someone could care so very much about another life and at the same time not give two shits about it either. |

No, no you don't. You're not interested in saving what you consider babies, you're interested in getting people to vote against their own self interest. Honestly, I find this disgusting. I can understand the reasons why some think abortion abhorrent. I totally get it, but this isn't anyway to end it, this isn't gonna stop a single abortion and to play on people's heart strings like this? Of course the dems will be accused of the same playing to women voters but then, they aren't the ones proposing an impossible amendment are they? |

odd, but sadly coming true, problem is religion seems to be taking a hold on regular people now, along with silly levels of patriotism rather than just taking the friendly mick out of neighbours lol :p |

Holy shit I just realized this :lol :lol
Romney is so fucked it's ridiculous. 1) If he runs with his party's platform then Obama will HAMMER ads that he supports anti-woman policies and tie him to Akin 2) If he doesn't run with the party's platform, he alienates them and some will undoubtedly turn against him, fracturing the party, and Obama will STILL find a way to link him to Akin indirectly. Soooogooood.jpg. |

They're the same-y, where they truly differ is in the social matters - where one side is socially regressive.

Locally, no. Repbulicans are clearly fucking insane fundamentalist that want us all to follow the bible. I'm conflicted, as I do not support the 1 party system, but you have to when it comes to local issues, or any issues that immediately affect people. I mean, these are the issues that we are supposed to debate about, they keep us thinking that its a 2 party system, and that 1 party has your interests in mind, while the other doesn't. Neither have our issues in mind, just the special interests and banking outfits that run the country. But if during the game, we can do a few things that help women from being violated by religion, I guess thats all the victory that can be had. |

Failed ideologies always go full retard on their last stages, because by then, only idiots support them. There are like 5%-15% of the population who support such hard line stance, sadly, they all vote in the GOP primaries, but this is going nowhere on the federal level. |
